Let us just say, they are crazy intense. 41 H/S on Demonic Str, 200 armor, 93 hit, 350 damage and a few other stuff.

Demonic Dex is like a bit more damage, 4 more h/s, 4 more dodge, and about 8 more armor up from the normal set.

Demonic Int I have no idea.

Only the recipes can be bought with plat, and they're 20 plat each. I'd hardly call that a 'ton' of plat. You still need to acquire all the components after that (either by farming or by spending gold). So yeah, if you would have said 'you all spent a ton of gold', I would agree :)
