Mausoleum Altars: How do they work?

Hey everyone,

I had a question regarding Mausoleum Altar's in my inbox and I think the response warrants a post. Here's a breakdown of how they work:


Each altar can only be used once
Using an Altar will grant all nearby party members the SAME randomly chosen buff. This buff's effectiveness scales individually based on your rank
Altar buffs last for 5 minutes or until you leave the current dungeon. You cannot take it with you to town or deeper into the mausoleum
Using an altar while a buff is active will replace the currently active buff you with a new random one for you and all nearby party members


The possible buffs you can receive are:

Armor
Crit %
Damage
Health
Mana
Luck


This is the breakdown of what each buff amount is per rank, and their associated icon:

- Apprentice or Lower: 50 Armor
- Acolyte: 100 Armor
- Advocate: 150 Armor
- Disciple: 200 Armor
- Lightbearer+: 250 Armor

- Apprentice or Lower: 0.25% Crit
- Acolyte: 0.5% Crit
- Advocate: 0.75% Crit
- Disciple: 1.0% Crit
- Lightbearer+: 1.5% Crit

- Apprentice or Lower: 0.25 Damage
- Acolyte: 0.5 Damage
- Advocate: 1.0 Damage
- Disciple: 1.5 Damage
- Lightbearer+: 2.25 Damage

- Acolyte: 125 Health
- Advocate: 250 Health
- Disciple: 450 Health
- Lightbearer+: 750 Health

- Advocate: 5% Reroll
- Disciple: 7% Reroll
- Lightbearer+: 10% Reroll

All of these effects do stack with other effects already on you for your rank, elixirs, etc.

Maybe a dumb question, but how do you "use" the altar? Is it automatic when you are in range, or do you have to do something to make it happen?

When you say Each altar can only be used once is that once a day or only once period. Is this found mostly a hall before fighting the boss so that you get enhanced while fighting him? I found an altar to get blessed which was a quest. Haven't gotten any buffs.

Yea I turned that quest in but all though no buff we got the gold and XP allthough if L61 we dont need the XP Idk maybe it what leads you too getting too use the altars after that quest But thats just a guess !!!
But would like know about the Antignome Sets in Mausoleum when will they kick in ??

This has not been fixed at least not that I've noticed, I'm still losing my buffs after the warp....

Thanks :cupcake:I doubt Antignome sets will ever work in Maus. I recall seeing on each piece something like "Effects only in Underhul Zones"

Can you increase gold loot in Maus due to difficulty,

Wasted so much time like 30 minutes for Maus 5-6 but i only get 30k-40k even have 250% gold loot but ESG i get more gold loot.

its any kind of method to go up in rank faster i am "hard stucked" and i play much mausoleum but the points are just coming too slow

You can try your luck with red eggs and currency chests. They both drop 5k lightbearer points occasionally.
