With demonic sets (crafted lv60 glyph sets) released, I thought it would be useful to share what the difference is with regular glyph sets (aside from looks). This way, anyone who intends to go through the (expensive) process of crafting their lv60 sets, can at least make an informed decision.

This is how the new sets look (as posted in another thread):

Let’s start with the INT (wand/bracer) set

Glyph Int set (please note, that in the stats pic, I’m wearing a 2crit, 20mana, 4armor ring, no vanities equipped):

Lightning dmg: 280-422/293-440/13-18 skill dmg

So, this is what you gain by crafting your INT set: 15Int, 2Hit, 8H/s, 7mana, 12Dmg, 8 armor and 13-18skill dmg

Next up, is the Dex (autobow) set

Stats comparison:

(added 5 Int to Glyph set because of being LV60 instead of LV61. Also added 1 skill dmg for the Glyph set (5 Int more). 1 crit is probably because of the extra 5 int, together with rounding of stats)

Hit %: 102/104/2 Hit

Critical Hit: 27/28/- (probably because of added Int together with rounding of stats, so basically no difference)

Dodge: 3/3/-

Health Pool: 400/400/-

Health Regen: 23/29/6 H/s

Mana Pool: 782/791/9 Mana

Mana Regen: 23/23/-

Damage: 236-259/246-269/10 dmg

Dps: 225/234/9 dps

Armor: 108/116/8 armor

So, again, you’ll gain following with crafting: 12 Int, 2 Hit, 6 H/s, 9 Mana, 10 Dmg, 8 armor, 11-14 skill dmg

Very nice bro. I'm quite impressed that the crafted sets don't make the existing glyph sets way overpowered, but still better. Eg, RR to Custom.

Oops, thanks for that too! Lol, Crafted sets making glyphs overpowered.. What was I thinking.

Look-wise though, crafted blows glyph out of the way.

All noted it before, there is no tradeoff in crafting glyph items - only advantages. Someone can wonder if MM set is better than Enchanted in some situations, but not here. I cannot imagine what new elite campaign pinks will be...

I actually have the demonic staff, I just didn't have the glyph staff anymore. If you want, I can post pics of the stats in a bit. Just let me know :)

Nice comparison...wonder why no extra crit with crafted dex set? I wanted to at least see it match custom in that area. I think im good with my obedience for now until crafting items go down in price at least.

Cant beat the looks of demonic though...best looking set besides death on the game.

Guys I'm such a Noob. I bought 3 para leather scraps thinking this was the last things j needed in crafting my Denomic armor, then I find out it's fiber not scraps and is like 1.5 mil for 2 fibers :/ so now already bought everything else have nogold and worth less crafting material. :) I'm such a noob

That's not being a noob, that's just being human IMO. Humans make mistakes. Anyway, why don't you just resell them on CS? They're quite popular right now. That way you can recover some (or all) of the gold you lost :)

But, Since the word is out now, I'll get to it ASAP :)

@crim I only tested the INT set briefly, and although nothing extreme, I definitely noticed the skill dmg increase. I also almost didn't die anymore in Nuri runs (died once when I was using the staff set to clear mobs in Symphony), but that might have been because of the new persistence vanity set bonus. I didn't have a chance to test the dex set yet, didn't want to make Ars paranoia by running off into a dungeon with it :D

Then I wasn't wearing demonic, cause I didn't use any elix when I was 61, and crafted demonic when I was 61 already :p

But yeah, definitely cooler then sewer gear. They should give the guy who designed it a raise IMO :D

Great showmanship in this thread, mhmm. Although, a note to those who plan to dual spec: The attribute bonuses may vary actually by very little because of the increased stats. ex: 12 dex boost may cause the increase in damage as opposed to having a set +(amount) damage. But that would take some serious deciphering. As for pures, there you go!

Personally, when I purely look at the numbers, I'd say that the Mage set gets the best in stats increase.

That's actually the cool thing this time around, you loose... Wait for it... NOTHING! :D

The stats increase is fairly moderate as compared to previous lv55 crafting sets, but in return you don't sacrifice anything compared to the original set. Personally, I think devs did it right this time. They chose not to simply replace 1 stat with another (like m/s -> h/s for enchanted, or dogdge -> dmg for fortified), or increase it by that much (crit on custom for example). Lots of people were disappointed by the previous crafting. An argument that was heard a lot was, that the crafted sets didn't necessarily become better to each person's taste (with the exception of maybe custom). by simply increasing the stats a bit, these sets are not completely overpowered but offer an all round increase in stats, without having to sacrifice anything else. So personally, I think they did it right :)

Please be aware, I have tested both the Demonic Glyph and normal Obedience set in both PvP and PvE. The difference is so slight that it is hardly noticeable. So, I suggest crafting slowly rather than blowing millions at a time.

The strength set now is a completely different story. Lol!

Just a quick thanks for putting up the stats so that I can make an informed decision as I continue to grind my way elixir free to 61.

I noticed Apollo wrote that for the Obedience set that the difference was hardly noticeable but the Str set was a different story. Can anyone provide a PvE comparison of the Int sets? (Glyph Charmin' vs Demonic?)

BTW, the more I review the various "junk pink" vs. Demonic and Glyph stats, I think the Devs have done a pretty good job of providing a new and casual player like myself a serviceable "poor man's" loadout while rewarding the hardcore farmers or "old timers" (no disrepect, I mean it as a term of endearment) some really cool looking gear. For ex: disregarding the set bonuses, as a Mage the only piece of premium gear that gets me jazzed over its "junk pink" countepart is the Demonic hood with offers +8 Armor boost. Really the rest of the gear appears to be in the same ballpark and I believe the differences can be closed by playstyle and running with a good party.

Finally, I got my first rez on a player in Demonic gear last night, so I got to see firsthand it doesn't make someone invincible. (But then again, I'm sure they're saying "bad mage, heal me faster!" like spam healing every 3 seconds isn't fast enough...) ;)

The more I think about it, the more I wish it were the Big Top set that could be crafted in to Demonic. I think it's such a better set than Strongman.

That's because you love dodge :p

But yeah, bigtop is extremely good IMO. The added hit definitely helps for more str focussed bears. This allows you to put more points in STR, while still being able to land those beckons. The only area where it lacks compared to glyph/demonic is dmg IMO. Although the extreme high armor of demonic, coupled with an insane h/s AND very good dodge, make this set look extremely strong 'on paper'. I would have to play with it myself though, to know which one feels better. My bet is I'd go for demonic, since personally I love dealing dmg. And, possibly, survivability is the same.

Yes, I do. I remember when I first started using Big Top and would get pulverized by mobs, particularly in Symphony. Keep in mind that Big Top has more dodge than Strongman. When the vanity set became available, I noticed a huge difference in runs. Then I decided to return to my old faithful, Royal Sewer, and have cut my deaths drastically. Royal Sewer has less damage and less armor than Big Top which has less than Strongman which has less than Demonic. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that dodge superseeds H/s and armor.

When running with Big Top, I could not enter Nuri's dungeons with less than 100 health pots. Now, with Royal Sewer and Vanity Set, I never have more than 25 in inventory. I can't stress how huge of a difference it has made. I can even survive gravestone hits now.

If it would be any stronger, my guess is that a lot of people would complain. Especially coming from the ones who can't buy it right now and PvP. And who knows, they might still tweak these stats in the future, just as they did with lv55 crafted stuff (dmg added later for enchanted staff set or extra crit for custom).
