So I've been levelling my alt's (Toons), getting the Custom sets to work out all set bonus stats, as this is one of the main questions that players at all level's ask.

My Main (Com) had been Custom for awhile so I've had the stats needed, just needed to level all alts to 30.

Unforutnately through my research and findings it was clear to me that the Engi set was not for me. (not worth all that hard work and credit for the gain) also due to the fact that Plat Gear had a great amount of Dodge compared to Engi Custom, as this was my main aim. (You may feel the same from below or not depending on your play type) As I was not going down this road I had borrowed. (Thanks!)

Also due to me not fully having the Custom Op set the remainder of items needed were borrowed to me (by one lucky player, who I will only mention if they like :p)

Thanks again to everyone that borrowed me their sets needed to complete this! You know who you are! :D

Enjoy!

Hope this has put alot to bed, sure has on my end.. Feel free to discuss and correct me if you have found any error. :D

As discussed below some of these stats may have been raised from the Main Stats influence, I am currently working with IBNobody to find out which ones, will re-post my findings.

Thank you. May I use you as a source in my compendium?

The Commando bonus is actually +20HP / +1 HP Regen. The extra bonus you get was caused by your strength getting boosted.

EDIT: I'd bet that the Comm bonus is also just 1% Crit and +5 Damage, too.

Just re-checked and I can also see + 1 point in Damage.

Thanks for the info IBNobody! Remember reading about that in a Guide?! (Maybe someone or myself can work out where and what the exta side stats are if needed I can do this myself if anyone knows which Guide it was)

No problem at all, it would be a pleasure! :)

Will make some changes, as realised kept my Deatomizers on.. so not Base yet.

Lol. Glad I could help :D Main reason I would pick Custom over Plat anyday! :) (Also this is without any Implant or Weapons etc, so can be higher with)

I am such a dolt.

Here's what you can do to make your stats show the set bonus.

1. Equip all custom, except for one piece.
2. Equip a non-custom piece.
3. Record the stats.
4. Equip a the custom piece.
5. Record the stats.

The only stats that should change are those from the extra custom bonus (just HP/MP) and the set bonus.

EDIT: Double check the Op Damage with a rifle equipped, too, to make sure that it's a flat damage adder of +6.

Haha you confused me a little.. what I have done is,

1. Equip all custom, except for one piece.
2. Moved my cursor over the missing Custom piece. (Which shows what the Custom piece alone will add)
3. Recorded stats.
4. Equip missing Custom piece. (Which then shows the difference between what the stats are without and then with and compare.

Only difference for Op. is Health and Mana. Not worth the $$ IMO.

The problem is that the game doesn't show bonuses correctly when previewing items that add additional stat points to STR/INT/DEX.

You can fix that by setting your stat points ahead of time. You can do THAT by equipping a non-customized version of the armor. That way, your STR/INT/DEX stays the same and you don't have to worry about how much these are changing your other stats.

EDIT: Looks like Flow created a post in the bugs section specifically addressing this display error.

Okay buddy, will give that a go with my Com and let you know what I come back with :)

Also updated my Engi and some other Stats that were found. (Com and Engi, most likely additional stats)

I'm a bit confused - Do your set bonuses account for the added 30 stat inclusion? For example for an Operative, 30 dex would gives 0.6 Crit + 2.307 Damage + 2.727 DPS.

So does your set bonus stats subtract these from the main stat bonuses?

Full Op Set Bonus (Odd IMO, but does suit this class)

Crit + 1
Health Pool + 3
Mana Pool + 2
Damage + 6
DPS + 10

Unfortunately no, this includes all 'additional stats' from Str/Dex/Int.

Was going to look for the thread when I get time, (im guessing was yours) to work out which stats and how much stats need to subtracted, to hit the Main Base stats for all Custom sets.

Curious how you show 33 dodge on your comm since even with the dodge implant i'm only getting 23

Does this happen to be with Custom Set? each piece of Custom has + 3% Dodge :D (This is without Dodge Implant so with it would be even higher again [+ 5% Dodge more] :))

You're doing it wrong. You include the dex/str/int changes there, too, and you most certainly shouldn't, they're not part of the set bonus.

Engineer Custom Set bonus is: 20 mana, 1 mana regen.

The rest is from the int that the piece you're about to wear actually causes. You should do it so that you replace one of the custom pieces with another non-set bonus yielding piece with identical stat bonus and then almost put on the custom piece that completes the set, then the stats won't change when you put it on and you notice that many of the false figures you have there will disappear.

I have been toying with this for a week now...custom far surpasses plat set this time around especially for my Comm...what I have done to spice up the gumbo is to create two different builds using 2 different implants...one I named DPS! and the other named TANK! I only use the tank build when I'm either alone or on a boss or there either isn't an engi, or the one that's in my run refuses to spare the mana to heal (sad to say this happens more often than it should) I have found that the full custom set coupled with the incinerator is definately the best for me and I simply just jump between builds which only changes my implants between the "hit-n-quit" and the "dura-skin"...the benefits of both are great...I can achieve 106 dps and with the other I can stack up 1001 armor with my current buffs...Just figured I'd share what keeps Cappin alive and how I roll lol! Ciao for now!

Great thread, very informative! Been doing the same leveling my alts after I hit 31 on my Op. Have Custom Op & Comm already. Didn't think I was going for the Custom Eng set due to the coin already spent on the 1rst 2 sets. Think I'll stick with plat gear for my Eng. Thanks!

Yeah, full custom mega armor. And you just answered your own question in a way. Each piece of custom, 5 slots x 3 dodge each = 15 dodge + 3 base + 5 implant = 23 dodge... So yeah, please enlighten me since apparently i'm missing something.

Hi Hulluko, if you possibly read the previous posts its states, will add all stats and then when I have some extra time work exactly where and what these 'additional stats' from Str/Dex/Int are. Also IBNobody already explained this method a few posts above. Thanks for feedback tho :)

Awesome! Thanks for sharing buddy.. I haven't messed with the implants as much as I would like to, as lately been pretty busy irl (having a life sux sometimes haha but I still enjoy it) when I get a chance will defo check out that DPS build :) (Dura-Skin is what I'be been using since able to lol)

Exactly how I felt about this buddy sticking with my Plat set for Engi. Only custom set that im not going pursue, though wont turn it down when the opportunity arises in the future.. all custom look Beast! Haha xD

Looking a little further into this it is a bug by the seems of it after mentioning it I went in game and tried to reenact this to show 33%.. please see below threads for workings.

IMHO i fail to see a reason to spend all the those resources, credits for who buy the recipes.
There are no elite instances, all the maps available are easy with the armor that drops.
There is also no PvP. So why get it besides showing you are a dedicated player.
I decided to save and wait, i run perfectly fine with non custom gear. And i survive quite easily.

Glad you feel that way :) Not many do and try to hard to get full Custom etc and then end up with no cred..

Personally would have the Com Custom set any day, with the Regen and Dodge alone it saves me so much in Stim = Cred, but do understand as these are not obtained easily.
