I would personally find it very helpful to see where my fellow guildies are before I "join" them or not... kinda like how it is with friends.

Was thinking about this yesterday to see were they are you need to add them to friends etc. or just take that dreaded leap of faith and hope you aren't disturbing another members discussion or what not :p
