Enchantress Primary and Secondary Stat information
Patch 48248 (level 45 AO2)
Updated 20100704 (added data to level 45 and +40 stats beyond, no major changes)
by Gloam

http://spreadsheets.google.com/lv?key=0AinmiYLB4ejhdC13aGp3SXl5MTltX0M5akN4elRZOW c&hl=en

Primary Stats : STR, DEX, INT
Secondary Stats: Hit, Crit, Dodge, Health, H/s, Mana, M/s, DPS, Armor

total Secondary Stat gains per Primary Stat point spent

1 STR = 0.6333 Secondary Stats
1 DEX = 0.8251 Secondary Stats
1 INT = 0.7233 Secondary Stats

individual Secondary Stat gains per Primary Stat point spent:

Hit Crit Dodge Health H/s Mana M/s DPS Armor
1 STR = 0.05 0.5 0.02 0.0133 0.05
1 DEX = 0.5 0.15 0.05 0.1 0.0251
1 INT = 0.1 0.05 0.5 0.02 0.0533

Primary Stats required for one Secondary Stat increase:

Hit Crit Dodge Health H/s Mana M/s DPS Armor
STR 20 2 50 75 20
DEX 2 6.66 20 10 39.75
INT 10 20 2 50 18.75

Notes:

I have added +40 to the end range of each Primary Stat to assist with the modeling of gear. These numbers are greyed out and in italics.
Stat progression is not always even, but does follow patterns (you get 1 Hit from 19 STR, then 1 Hit from 21 STR and the 19/21 pattern repeats). These progression patterns can be viewed as tooltip comments on the sheets for each Primary Stat.
All data was taken while naked and not in a town to prevent interference from buffs (and to hide my shame).
Please contact me if you have any questions or notice any errors.

Good information. It's interesting how the same old topics reappear periodically, but anyway it is worth noting that thresholds may not be all that significant. Regen for instance seems to be a continuum rather than discreet integers. So you need 11 Int for 1 M/s and 61 for 2 M/s but at 60 Int you will effectively have 1.98 or so M/s (but your displayed value is rounded) which is pretty much the same as 2. In other words don't worry too much about hitting these exact numbers.

Working out the numbers was easy enough, once I had all the data. I just looked for patterns, most of which were easy to spot, then played with the alternating sequences to get the right numbers.

Without logs it's hard to figure out how rounding works in practice, as opposed to listed on the Avatar sheet and I'm not prepared to hedge my bets either way yet.

PS., I'm Gloam in-game.

Interesting spading you got here. What does "Secondary Stats" pertain too?

The stats you don't set yourself but that are determined by how you allot your attribute points, like dodge, regen, hit%, etc.

Yes but for example it says above DEX = 0.875... secondary stats. Is this the mean, average, or total?

I define primary stats as the ones you allocate points to, STR INT DEX, with all the other secondary stats being derived from them. So where I typed, DEX = 0.8751, that shows how many secondary stats you get per point of DEX. It just provides an easy way of working out the value of a particular stat, with those numbers assuming you value all secondary stats equally.

Once I hit 45 I'll update the spreadsheet, which should be some time this weekend.

Excellent info, but are the stats for H/s and M/s averages? Cause my mage has just 21 str and she has 1 H/s (that's why I have the 21 str lol).

They numbers listed here show the average amount gained per Primary Stat spent, which reflects the way H/s alternates from 1 per 49 STR, then 1 per 51 STR. On average 1 per 50 STR or 0.02 per 1 STR.

Starting with 1 STR, you already have 0.7H/s and thus get the first point at 16 STR and 49 points later at 65 STR you get the next H/s.

I guess this answers a lot of questions I have about point allocation, but I really thought the conversion for H/s and M/s was different for bears, as opposed to enchantresses and birds.

I have not taken any number on Bears or Archers yet. These are all strictly Enchantress numbers.

Weird, I read somewhere that enchantresses only needed 11 INT to get 1 M/s, and 11 STR to get 1 H/s. I'll see if I can find that thread.

Here's something about it: Exchange between Splurd and Azrael. (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?1017-The-Bow-Bear.-pew-pew-pew/page2&highlight=blade)

It was in VioletSaint's Paladin Build Thread: See where VS discusses removing points from INT in the battlemage/paladin spec. (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?3332-Violentsaint-s-lvl-35-battlemage-paladin-build-(from-lvl-35-40)/page2&highlight=intellect)

I suppose this information could have changed since the new content has been released, but I have been operating under these instructions as far as allocating the attribute points for my characters.

I just tested clearing 11 STR but staying under 16 STR and didn't get any H/s. I'm pretty sure the spreadsheet numbers are correct.

Maybe they're wrong? Or maybe there was some change in the last campaign which caused the numbers to increase.

Any chance of getting a forum mod to remove the patch no. from the thread title? I tried, but can only update the first post title, not the thread. That way I can update the numbers and not have to keep making new threads for updates.

Nice thread, one of most informative one for Enchantress, well done mate!
