These are the exact same odds. The point of this crate is that you don't have to purchase it from others, farm it up, craft it up. This is for players who just want to buy a straight up crate, which is why it's immediately opened and cannot be traded.

Whats mentioned in the preview is what happens in the event, there might be few bug fixes during the event but wont change the system of what was in the preview.
I too dont support the intention of bringing back old stuffs back into the game & i dont think they will.
