Resurgence of the guards not working

The quest "Resurgence of the Guard" is not working. I have killed them over 40 times and still not completed the quest. Waisted sooo much energy trying to complete this has frustrated me enough to create an account here and actually be more social by begging for some fricken help!

You need to kill the 5th boss which is the Guards. The 2nd and the 5th boss have a big difference. The 2nd boss guards attack 1 by 1, while the 5th boss guards all attack at the same time. I just completed this guest an hour ago so I can say its fine.

Nah. It helps to be plat tier but if you are getting syrillaxes, sooner or later, you will get the new guard.
