View Full Version : Reminder about reporting!

Hi everyone, hope you're having an awesome what-ever-you-celebrate!
I just wanted to send out a quick reminder that we need everyone to report things that they find that violate the ToS. Generally speaking, you're doing great and we appreciate you, but we do have quite a few cases of people either PMing the issue to a mod/dev or not reporting it at all save for mentioning in a forum argument. We've all been there.
If we want to make this community better, we need to work together. Please remember to REPORT the problems you see using the actual report button at the bottom of the post so we can make sure that everyone is safe!

I've been seeing quite a few people selling accounts lately. Hope they're going to get what they deserve :)

I think the reporting part needs some improvement.
When a player gets Abuses/Scams or does any sort of illegal things that is against the TOS & leaves the place or goes offline all that the victim can do it type /report xxxx. When its done we just get a message saying "The player has been reported for inappropriate behavior".
There wont be a clear picture for what the player was reported or what has he done.

If there would be an pop up box of an description box with an limit of 100 words(Limiting so that players dont type the whole story) the victims can send in some detailed report of what happened which gives a clear picture of what happened which will even help the support team to clear the issue very soon after verifying.

Just a suggestion though:)

I've been typing "/report xxxxx yyyyyy", yyyyyy being the reason. Does that do nothing? :s

For buying/selling accounts, you need to take screenshots and send all the proof you have to support. It isn't helpful when people say "someone is selling their account" and we don't have anything too go off of save for word of mouth.

I like that suggestion a lot, but I'm not on the technical side to make that possible. I'll pass on the idea though!
However, in this thread I'm specifically talking about in the forums here.

Hi Ronin can you guys look at chat log? Cos sometimes screen-shotting and gathering all evidence then emailing takes a lot more effort than /report and so people won't do it. But if chat log is available then it could just be searched for key words, wouldn't have to read it all.

As much as we try, we can't be in game all the time- we have to moderate everything and there's only so many of us! I'm just saying, if you see it, then report it and include something that leads you to believe it. People report things falsely and it clogs up the system, so we just need to work together, okay? Thanks!

Theres a video going around of a certain warrior ( not mentioning names as theres a couple of threads and a youtube vid already about it ) blatantly botting and you decide not to do anything about it.

If your going to try and implement a system you need to assure us that our efforts dont go to waste. What else do you need? An interview and a written statement from the botter?

Sts should do something to stop botting. Botting has been an issue for a long time now. Like some ppl botting the 5k elite mob aps,500 elite boss aps. Its effin unfair for those who really grind for those aps.
