Title has been edited by someone after nerf was applied to the boss. Now a pointless thread. No ankhs being refunded. Ignore.

Its not bug i thought it was to you need a tank or two to dmg it until shield is down then the dps come in and dmg then repeat.

I also thought he was bugged xD. Can you tell me how many times he spawns his shield back up.

He IS bugged. The damage dealt while shield is up is way too high. That part is not intended.

We were interrupted by system shut down when I was trying to figure out Corvis last night. Your strategy might work because my team tank survived when the rogues and mage died, but since us DPS could only free revive it took some time to get back to Corvis and infuriatingly we just dropped dead again when we get there. Even with Nekro shield up and damage reduction elixir.

it seems tough, but after about 30min fighting we could kill lich! strong warrior needed, 2 would be even better

You know, considering his spawn chamber has both light and dark pools, and there is at least a light shield (I'm assuming also a dark one - didn't get that far into the fight) it's possible the key to defeating corvis has something to do with luminous templars.

yep pur first thought was just to step into those pools while the shield is on (would be like gurgox in pocket legends, for those who played) but it didnt work out...maybe those pool only help once you have decided for either the light or dark side? or you need a balanced weapon and you always need to charge it to the right proc?

Wait for him to be fixed, then REK HIM!

I think he's gonna be fixed sometime today.

its not a bug ... theres just a certain tactic involved ... just figured it out and squashed him .... though took time, but didnt require ankhs

i will not argue is it a bug or not, but Justg said in chatbox they'll fix it today. and he was talking about Corvis. the last sentance is still visible:
[19-01, 16:25] Justg: knowing we'll fix it tomorrow

The mechanism of Corvis isn't bugged. It's his damage output when shielded, which leads people to believe he is broken because reviving using ankhs results in instant death. His damage range when shielded is also supposed to be that big, extending even outside of the room perimeters, according to vroom.

I wish they would stop slipping answers in chatbox while blatantly ignoring forum threads. Not everyone has the time to track the chatbox.

Also what's with the insane damage debuff that Nilbog can't undo? And the giant that pops out of nowhere?

Are these meant to mean something?

Pre nerf screenshots: ok, explain your methods? *but since i believe the nerf has already been applied before you posted these, why bother?*

Post nerf screenshots: why bother?

corvis isnt that bad tbh. have run it many times now. Just make sure your tank can heal on time and use his nekro aa on time to save u guys when the clock ticks down. He will probably be easier when using dark /light side with the pools around him as Darren says.

Fought Lich and could hardly manage to get his shield down even when we had him on those pools opposite to his shield colour. I think the shield only came down twice before Pt members left out of boredom, was told that was not the normal case.

Was a four rogue team.

STS,

If those dark and light pools are there to remove Corvis's shield, they ain't working. Had to defeat Lich the old fashion way - hack n slash!

Worst team ever in maus 5 :D. And I think pool will buff exalted player, not to get Corvis's shield down.

the only way to damage Corvis' shield when you aren't an Exalted is to stand in the opposite void zone color and attack Corvis from there. If you try and attack through his shield without being in the opposite light or dark void zone your damage will be reduced by almost 100%

Thank you for this info but.... What do you mean opposite void zone colour ? Do you mean stand next to pool opposite his shield colour ? Example : Shield is dark and you stand near light pool and fight, amirite ?
