Can Glint Aegis proc trigger death from Curse?

I ask this because I've been using Glint Aegis as my main weapon at lvl 61, and I know it's great for killing mobs and people still rave about it left and right, BUT...

I could swear I've died from Curse now and then when I did no attacks, and one warrior recently told me that running Maus with Glint Aegis was a great way to farm deaths. Can anyone confirm or refute this? If confirmed, I am thinking of switching to Dusk Aegis for current content and saving Glint Aegis for old content. Thanks.

I have the same issue. if i get hit by an arrow and proc, even when there is no enemy near me i die somehow.
about farming deaths: you will die a bit more often the when using another weapon but imo the damage done by the proc is a bigger advantage. just use nilbog aa or glowstick, it helps a lot

Ok thanks. Also, what do you think about Windmill? It used to be considered almost essential to maximize Glint Aegis procs, but would you say it's worth the deaths in Maus or not?

(Since I got speed set I stopped using SS, but maybe it's still good for damaging mobs. I've been using Axe/Windmill/VB/Horn. I'm thinking of changing that to SS/Jugg/VB/Horn for mobs and swapping SS to Axe for bosses.)

I personally use jugg, axe, HoR and sky. but i havent tried windmill in the new maps so idk.
i guess jugg/vb/hor/ss are usefull with speed set.
