Hi!
I'm "new" in the game, start to play 10 days ago, my favorite roles in this kind of games are Tanks and Healers (supportive characters),
The Warrior is the Tank (was my firts character).
The rogue is the dps (haven't tested it).
And with the Mage I'm confused, isn't a healer (the healt skill is pretty bad), is not dps (if the rogue is dps, the Mage can't be one), is good with mob control, but still too weak, have to use a big amount of potions for compensate the dependence of the mana (the war can fight against mobs without wasting mana (no using skills), but the Mage need always mana (or maybe I don't know how use it), no mana=no mob control and the mana runout pretty fast (have the highest amount of mana in the game but the skills consume it pretty fast).
Btw: Sorry for my bad english, is there a Arcane Legends forum in Spanish?

These are my characters (reach the lvl 40+ take less than 8 hours).
The Warrior lvl is low because I'm waiting for test all the clases and then will chose one as main character, I enjoy more with the Mage than with the Warrior (is weak but pretty funny for play with it xd)

Mage heal is actually best in game looking at PvP part of game but i wouldn't suggest you to use it in PvE.
Mage is crowd controller, dealing as much Dmg as he can and apply as much effects as he can in area of effect (stun, freeze, damage over time)

Nowadays a mage is pretty universal in PVE. He can do AOE damage, control, and even insane boss damage (with broken and expensive gear). IMO only rogue should do large boss damage.

But don't use heal in PVE, it only makes mobs (and sometimes your team) angry.

Mages exist in order to spend far too may ineffective inefficient skill points into heal so that they can save party members minute amounts of mana potions.

This is what I gather from pugs anyhoo

Mage is love, Mage is life 💓..

At the moment mage is the most useful character in PvE, so it will be in PvP soon.. The weapons mage got at the moment are insane.. by thinking of the new balanced gun for PvP and the dragon Staff, flame Staff and Immortal Staff to comfortable complete hard maps like Mausoleum and Southern Gates.. In my oppion mage will rule this season ^-^ PvE based for sure, PvP dunno yet.. but not far away from it [emoji14]

I'll add the pros and cons of each class

Warrior
-Role: Tank

Pros:
- Massive Health and Armor
- Low Dps
- Good for PVE and PVP
- 2-3 active skills to keep mob aggro.

Cons:
- 1 warrior is sufficient in any run. This is not exactly a con, but in a world full of warriors "calling" the more experienced warrior is a better choice. This is from my personal experience when I was a warrior.

Rogue:
-Role: DPS

Pros:
- Average armor and hp
- Can be either melee or range
- Insane DPS
- Good for PvP
- Good against high HP boss.

Cons:
- Mana hungry
- Not the best class for PVE
- Gears expensive compared to other classes

Mage:
- Role: DPS/Crowd Control

Pros:
- Good HP
- Good aoe presence with Gale, Fire, Clock, Ice etc. and damage over time.
- Can hit multiple mobs at once using staff.
- Least expensive gears
- PvE oriented
- Easy to master

Cons:
- Least armor
- Fragile without shield
- Not that good in PvP

These are just my opinions. I've tried all three classes and to be honest Mage worked best for me in PvE and Rogues for PvP, warrior fits somewhere in between. For PvE mages are straight up OP with right weapons.

Pugs getting better but occasionally I do find mages using curse in Mausoleum and trust me when you find those mages you'd pray that they had use heal instead of curse. Heal in pve is LOL but Curse is *facepalm*.

Can you please give me some advices (you have tested all the classes right?)

Is the Staff better than the Gun?

Where I can get a Staff with no trade? With stats at least close to my actual weapon (131 dps 20 Str 40 Int, I try it with Puzzlebox chest from Shuyal but the items inside the chest are bad)

Skills:

Warrior:
Skyward Smash: 4/5 (No Quaking Earth upgrade) In use
Windmill: 4/5 (No Cripple upgrade)
Juggernaut: 4/5 (No Second Wind upgrade) In use
Vengeful Blood: 5/5 In use
Horn of Renew 3/5 (No Increased Ranged and Challenge upgrades) In use

Passives
Durable: 5/5
Damage: 5/5
Agility: 5/5
Knowledge: 5/5
Might: 5/5

No masteries

Mage
Fireball: 5/5 In use
Lightning Strike: 5/5 In use
Time Shift: 4/5 (No Time Bomb upgrade) In use
LifeGiver: 4/5 (No increased ranged upgrade) In use
Frost Bolt: 4/5 (No Artic Shatter upgrade).

Passives
Durable: 5/5
Damage: 5/5
Knowledge: 5/5
Might: 5/5
Agility: 1/5 (Will upgrade it to 5/5).

No masteries.

Rogue:
Not created yet.
(Need advices about this one too)

Quickness and Critical Shot seen pretty useless to me, Should I upgrade them?

What masteries I should upgrade?

Can you please give me some advices (you have tested all the classes right?)

Is the Staff better than the Gun?

Ans. For PvE use staff and gun for PvP

Where I can get a Staff with no trade? With stats at least close to my actual weapon (131 dps 20 Str 40 Int, I try it with Puzzlebox chest from Shuyal but the items inside the chest are bad)

Ans. I suggest u to save gold and buy Level 61 gears directly. No point in buying gears now.

Skills:

Warrior:
Skyward Smash: 4/5 (No Quaking Earth upgrade) In use
Windmill: 4/5 (No Cripple upgrade)
Juggernaut: 4/5 (No Second Wind upgrade) In use
Vengeful Blood: 5/5 In use
Horn of Renew 3/5 (No Increased Ranged and Challenge upgrades) In use

Passives
Durable: 5/5
Damage: 5/5
Agility: 5/5
Knowledge: 5/5
Might: 5/5

No masteries

Ans. I can't share warrior's info as I've never made it to 61 as a war.

Mage
Fireball: 5/5 In use
Lightning Strike: 5/5 In use
Time Shift: 4/5 (No Time Bomb upgrade) In use
LifeGiver: 4/5 (No increased ranged upgrade) In use
Frost Bolt: 4/5 (No Artic Shatter upgrade).

Passives
Durable: 5/5
Damage: 5/5
Knowledge: 5/5
Might: 5/5
Agility: 1/5 (Will upgrade it to 5/5).

No masteries.

Avoid using heal in PVE, when u use heal u take mob's aggro on yourself. Try this Level 61 build:

Fire - 4/5 - "Sorch" not required.
Gale - 5/5
Clock - 4/5 - "Time Bomb" upgrade not required.
Shield - 4/5 - "Displacement Wave" not required."

Passive: 5/5 armor, 5/5 INT, STR, DEX

Mastery:
a. 10/10 shield
b. 10/10 Gale

Gale mastery removes curse/stun/debuffs and helped me in keeping alive in maus runs.

After spending your skills points as I mentioned you'll have 3 extra skill points, use them as you please.

Rogue:
Not created yet.
(Need advices about this one too)

Quickness and Critical Shot seen pretty useless to me, Should I upgrade them?

Quickness is useless, critical is useful for mage and rogue

What masteries I should upgrade?

Mages here work diferent than world of warcraft, here they are more like for pushing pt when everybody is in a pinch. example rouges spamming aim shots and war taking the damage, mage pops fire ball drops time and heals members to enforce the push. people see mages with huge damage but look at the skills,,, all damage over time and no breaking armor, if lighting from mages worked exaclty the same as aimshot from rogues... it would be chaos. fire ball and lighting should break targets armor for mages to trully feel their core damage.
