One Thing You Would Love To See... [Archive]

I know we all love this game which is why we're all here. We all like to dream sometimes too, right?

So, with all that has been done for us in PL, if you had ONE THING that would make this game so much better for you and possibly everyone else, what would that thing be?

Lets assume that Sam or another STS Developer is reading through threads and comes across this one. If you knew they were listening and they gave you ONE choice of something you would LOVE TO SEE in PL, what would that thing be? I'm talking something practical. Something that could actually be done. Not something that would only happen in our best dreams. But something that might actually be done in the future. What would it be? What would just turn this game into the ultimate best thing ever for you?

No matter what it is. It could be a new map, it could be a new trading system, a new auction house, better items, etc. Anything.

To me, and this may sound simple and plain, but if I could have a message system it would totally make my whole experience so much better. A way that people can leave me messages while I'm offline so that when I return, I can keep up with what's going on and reply back to them. That would do it for me.

Thanks for participating. Who knows. Maybe this may interest STS if some of you have some really good ideas. :)

If you just login, but dont join a towne, you can send and receive msgs. But if you get a long message, you have to read fast, or join a towne.
I would be very happy if there will be little msg window where you can read the msg when you login, without joining townes.

For me, a new class would help :/ new class and more lvl 60 sets .. Theres only 3 lvl 30 sets whereas for lv 55 each class gets 3 sets T.T

chat channels! instead of doing /r /t /g, tapping the chat section will reveal different toggles for replying, telling, or guild chat. you have the option to shut off other channels (we all know we want that option for public chat in townes.)

another thing id want is actual open world, instead of kill so and so enemies to complete the level. there would be dungeons, but itll be mostly open world.

and heavier emphasis on quests that actually give good enough gear till you get the drops, decent income, and more xp.

Great idea ! It should be like all other MMOs .. Its kinda confusing with all the channels combined together :(

I definitely like red's idea about the chat channels.

If I had to pick one it would be a guild message board. Like a whiteboard kind of thing were announcements can be posted on. So much easier then having to set up a forum to make announcements IMO :)

I just want my big luck shamrocks to stick out through my head gear, meaning the helm/hood/cowl etc would be visible but with big luck sprouting through the top of it :)

Yeah, there's some things I wish I could do similar to this. For example, i forget what the hat is called but it's a dex hat and it's white and has sparkles that float off of it. It's really cool. I wish I could wear that under one of my vanities and still have the sparkles come off. :)

Wish list...

- Funnier bird faces, besides the duck look (and maybe shooting star), the rest doesn't have the same fun/interesting characteristics as for the bear and mage.
- Join button for friends in towns - please bring back :)
- The big luck used to sit nicely on my glyph helm, maybe it was a glitch, but it was a nice glitch -- better than my birds balding head :P
- Music play list - be able to play music from my personal playlist for some adrenalin pump action tunes for when I'm potted with elixir :)
- Shareable stash for guild members, which can be the same layout as CS so members can borrow equipment and know who owns it and who borrowed it.
- More individual elixirs e.g. luck, speed, 3x armor, 3x melee (currently there's only 2x tank and melee) all with 30 and 60 min options.

I'm sure I can think up of more.... :)

its possible :P server time in wow they had a server time so imagine it like this you live in central time zone and someone lives in pacific the time would be in central ofcourse cause pl and sl is from texas and you look at the clock you search for your time zone equation and add or subtract from server time and you know what time is it in actuallity

I think there should be a better way to regulate 1v1 in pvp ,like approval from both parties to duel..also, an auction, and direct route to guild hall ..running through town to grab discount elixer while party is running without you kinda stinks..btw this game still kicks A! :)

Really, you want to bring back this debate. Most of us have come to acceptance with this. Heck, I don't even notice it anymore. That is just crazy!

How about when you need to get through things fast in some levels there are rides like in forest haven there are horses and you fight on them.A NEW CLASS!!!!! HECK YES!!!!!Oh and pets ;).More interactive environment like star legends.

Sure. Why not? I was asked what I would like to see. This is what I would like to see. I don't think it crazy at all.

I'm used to it too... The same way prisoners get used to life in jail.

I think that making the world more complex would be an absolutely amazing feature. For example, elevations could be put in for dungeons like Lost Expedition when it seems completely flat even though it is in a mountain. Stairs and pits could work well for places like balefort castle or AO in the pyramids. There could be dunes. Bigger views of certain things would also look good, for example a full view of a pyramid or castle from the outside instead of one story.

There could also be more things to examine, like messages that assist the plot in dungeons or observing a wall with a glyph on it.

More versatility in movement would also be nice, so in a cave you could crawl under a tight gap or jump over a pit. Maybe there could be teleport machines or secret passages too, to give a little more variety to the world. So basically:
-elevations
-extra movements
-more in-depth objects
Although I'm sure this would be difficult to make it would at least be a realistic request instead of gold bought plat or insta-kill weapons or something like that. If PL or SL could incorporate these, I would literally spend all day playing.

GCD --> Global Cool Down time
When you press a skill button, you need to wait for 0.5 sec to press another one. This is to prevent people from spamming skills. :)

Now that we have guilds. How about make events/dungeons that require guilds. For example, make bosses/levels that requires about 20 players that all have to work together. The strategy should be a bit more dynamic, not just a trick that everyone learns to easily defeat a boss.

For example, suppose you have gate guards with mana shields that only birds can get through. And, when you get in, there are hordes of little creatures with few hp but large numbers that enchanters are effective at dealing with (AE damage). And, maybe the zone has some healers with huge HP and armor (so they cant be killed), so bears have to keep them stunned so they don't AE heal everything. There could be a guard with a trumpet, and if you give him time to blow the trumpet, then reinforcements come and attack you, so a bear needs to keep the guard stunned.

Ever wanted to get someone back in pvp but couldnt? This is where bounties come in. A special form of 1v1 is formed. There is some place where u can "put a bounty" on someones head so to speak. Then when someone beats that person in pvp they get the reward. It could be money or items idc, but I'd love so see something along these lines. It satisfues revenge, and pays pvpers. :)
