Like the title says im just wondering if there will be an announcment a few weeks in advance so we know when and how much it will cost or if they will just randomly spring it on us

They'll probably announce it 2-3 days before it starts.

They have for all the major holiday events from before, however smaller ones have been unannounced

Knowing STS, a preview will probably be released within the next 2 weeks.

Thanksgiving wasn't made into a holiday campaign last year so I'm assuming it won't be one this year.
