flame forged vs cryomodified weapon

It's taken a long time to get my glintstone coins and I want to make the right decision. I was told the lvl 46 flame forged hex can't be resold, bummer. I am looking at the cryomodified weapons also. They look like a paper sword, not too threatening looking but I think it can be resold. Anyone know? Can the cryomodified weapons use the recipe for cryo hardening? The flame forged staff looks so cool in action. Is this the better weapon even considering that I can't resell it. Appreciate any help with this.

Guessing that you're still around lvl 46-47 so I'd say lvl up using the cheapest weapon and gear first then gear up properly according to the maps you'll be running.
Hex staff is pretty useful but only for maps where there are tons of tanky mobs, for example mausoleum floor 3-6. For any other map you'll do just as good if not better with a lvl 61 pink weapon :)

I use that L46 flame staff only because I run elite sg using my mage. If not going sg, better buy any other weapon and lvl up

Edit: I use staff for mobs only, I change to gl set before boss dies

Don't focus on weap until your on or near lvl cap unless you are a twink
