View Full Version : Lets Talk About Maria the New Djinn Pet

So I got Maria and did a few test runs with it and I just wanted to talk about the arcane ability because it feels incredibly underpowered. For those that don't know what the arcane ability does, here it is:
Gifted Wish: Grants you and your allies 100% Mana Ignore and 20% Boss Damage for 3 seconds. Recovers 10% Mana. Amplifies Djinn's power for 10 seconds (+25% damage for Maria, hits from Maria give enemies -15% armor,-8% crit,-75% speed)


The the 10% mana restore and the amplify effect for Maria is fine, but the 3 second 100% mana ignore only lasts for 1 or 2 skills and thats about it. Personally, 20% boss damage actually isn't that great.

To recap here's how I feel about Maria's arcane ability:

•Good
-10% mana restore
-Temporarily Amplifying Maria

•Needs Improvement/Not Useful
-20% boss damage
-3 second 100% mana ignore

Unfortunately, this pet suffers from Arcane Pendant syndrome (in my opinion) so thats why I ask you guys just to make sure I'm not going crazy: What do you guys feel about this pet? Does it deserve a buff? How would you guys buff this pet?

Here's how I feel this pet can be improved (not all have to be used):

1. Increase 100% mana ignore to 5-10 seconds
2. 50-100% boss damage for 3 seconds
3 Add a mana regen

The 3 seconds should definitely be improved up to 5-7 seconds imo. Especially when PvP is crawling with Korruptions...

The 20% boss damage and mana Ignore needs lasts for at least 5-7 seconds to be comparable with another arcane pets AA.

Just put 3 pets together and "poof" you have the perfect pet!

Like 3 scoops of ice cream at a "choose your own topping" ice cream shop. 🙊🙉🙈.

I would be interested to know more about the passive banish rate. Anyone ?

The pet is the exact same as maridos (except for the arcane ability) so its 1% chance to banish on melee attack

Arcane staff 46 (full boss damage awaking)+ that pets 20% bos damage
Has anyone tested it yet in maus
