Hi guys, I'm KOTB. I have 145 strength

I'd like to equip the shield of Horus, which requires I have 141 strength.

Though despite meeting the requirement, it won't let me.

Trying a different way, I first equip my other shield which gives me a +7 to strength. When switching, it tells me that all the requirements are in the green, and that despite dropping 7 strength, I'll still be above the limit for the shield...

but it won't let me. It immediately drops it and says I don't meet the requirements. :(

So don't meet the requirements when I surpass them, but do meet them when I surpass them by a large margin...either way I can't wear the shield.
Help a bear out. :D

Are you counting the extra STR that your gear adds? I believe you need to have x amount of a stat without any gear on.

Take your gear off then check your strength

Pre-patch this was a nice loophole I used to use, but it's possible that this no longer works. Alas, I was worried this would be the case, but I was hoping I could avoid using a respec.

If I don't post again, assume that was the fix. Thanks for taking interest, fellas.

Yea I think the fixed it.
Why do you have 9 INT? Is it so when you put on some INT, m/s gear, it puts you at 16? If so not a bad way to get a few more points to use.

M/S was discovered to be fractional, so any Int gives you some, not just when you hit the integer number.

yah your gear bumps your str up. it goes by your real str not what extra the armoor gives you
