Please keep in mind, as per the announcement at http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?39406, the Silver Jetpack that can be purchased via the in-game store will only give out the 20% speed boost and the Silver Antennas when you wave during this week only!

Hmm....... I took the item's description as meaning it would only give out Antennae during the event, but the speed boost was permanent.

I hope boost permanent...if not its ok......in PL got a helm worth 500 plat....so yea not worried lol

Well, I'm just glad I didn't run out and buy 1 for each character.
Sam: Can you have your guys hot-patch the description to read:
"During GDCO, grants 20% more speed and distributes Silver Antennae to those who wave at you."

Yeah the order of the words needs to be re-arranged. Also, when you go to purchase the Jet pack, all it says in store is "Grants +20% move speed."
Kind of misleading, guys :suspicion:

Aw shucks. I bought a silver one thinking the mov part was perm. But the antenna thing wasnt. Lesson learned, no more plat store impulse buys.

Wow... I'm actually kind of pissed off that I just blew 50 plat on this. I thought that i was getting a perm 20% boost. You REALLY need to word your descriptions better, I feel kind of robbed.

Still, if the description was more accurate people would not spend that much platinum.

I've been trying to spend no plat in SL (not that I don't support, but I've spent a bunch on PL), so I've been doing free plat offers to try to earn 50. So far I've gotten 35 ;)
P.S.- the Chrome jetpack you get from the Droid in-game has the temporary boost too I believe. I just want the Silver one for looks. :)

I might have thought about buying if the speed increase was permanent. Got kinda excited about that. Just for a week though...I'd rather keep the plat I guess
