Hi, I recently got 1000 platinum and I was wondering if I should mass open lockeds or buy elite awaken gems.

So which route should I take

Up to you but I personally would do the awaken ems because it's guaranteed gold

I guess it depends on what your long term goal is. Personally, opening all those locks is pretty underwhelming whereas watching your gold stack up from selling crate keys, ankhs and other similar items is delightful. You could always spend a few plat to get some locks and see what happens. Just don't blow it all re-awakening items or buying respecs for your twinks.

i had around 2k plat this month and spent 1.7k buying crate tokens cuz who doesnt want 750k from just 70 plat (gonna sell during ursoth ) or maybe open locked during Ursoth if i dont sell for 750k+.

I recommend you save your plat and stock up on mass twilight. During Ursoth event open locked; I can sense new arcane gear coming our way already.... you will make a lot more profit there if u get lucky but of course that is very unlike.

Buy elite awaken if u need gear to farm gold

U better play it safe, if ur gonna pop some crate do it on elondria, but ur gonna hv to farm the crate urself, because sts will only put the same item as mass twilight plus 1 new event egg and brand new belts, buying crate from cs is not too good for ur profit,,

If you don't mind loosing plat then you can gamble. But its better to spent those on elite awakened gems.
People have lost thousands of plats and hundreds millions of gold opening lockeds. It's upto you anyways.

awaken gems are in demand so selling it is easy..opening locks is quite the gamble and u can lose gold in the process. so id say awaken gems

With 1000 plats anything could happen lucky/bad luck up to you if you would take the gamble.

Remember it's not guaranteed, your taking a huge gamble like in casinos good crates to open are massive twilights,heart,goblin 2017 those are the ones who have expensive loots inside if you get lucky open at your own risk!

Tbh I dont mind opening lockeds I just want 1 orb :) so I can craft the armor

I would choose awaken gems.

Awake gems...i just lost 1.6m by opening chests, not worth it lol

In the last couple events I've lost around 60MIL plus opening crates. I'd buy awakes at least till you have gold to possibly lose. then maybe pop a few crates.
