Oh it's the most wonderful time of the yearrr...

Guide will not be updated after level cap raise. Guide will become outdated, time for you oncoming PL-entrepreneur's to get crackin on the new mage guide :).

Note: This guide has now been edited and perfected to fit the new level 56 cap in the game. Also all broken hot links have been fixed.

Do you have what it takes to answer the Elf Queen's call? Are you nimble and quick? Well then, follow the path of the Elf Enchantress, able to command all of nature's great and terrible power.

Hey guys, I'm Pharcyde! I have been a Enchantress since the first time I played Pocket Legends. I have made a guide to help players understand how to use Enchantress's. If you have a question that was not addressed in this guide, then feel more than free to ask me. I will answer all questions thoroughly and accurately. Also please remember I made this guide using only high levels as examples/references. If you have any specific lower level questions then I will add them to the FAQ and answer. I will also try putting as many links in this thread as possible to other great guides.

I love to take criticism! It helps me make a better guide! I only take it if it is constructive though, so please don't post anything that is flaming.

This guide contains the following information:
Basic Introduction on Enchantress Class
Information about Enchantress stats
Information about Enchantress Spells (Or Skills)
Information about Enchantress Gears
Information about the five common Enchantress Builds
Information on Dual Builds
Information on Enchantress Spell Combos
Information on Enchantress gear bonus's
FAQ

Basic Introduction
The Enchantress is a Mage. The Enchantress attacks with staffs or wands from a distance. They use magical cloaks and hoods to boost their magical abilities. They have a very strong, powerful attack. But one thing they lack is good defense. The Enchantress Class can be very hard to play if you don't know how to use them.

Why Enchantress?

Enchantress's are key players in any party. They can play almost every role in the game.
Enchantress's have a Group Healing spell. It greatly restores the entire groups Healthpoints.
Enchantress's have the best group damage spells in the game. They are known for their ability to take down massive mobs of enemies.
Enchantress's have a Revive spell. When a fellow member of the party dies, the Enchantress can bring them back to life.
Enchantress's have powerfull blessing spells. These spells greatly increase the Enchantress's stats and abilities for a limited time.
Enchantress's have been granted a special power to break down enemies. These powers allow Enchantress's to decrease enemies armor and attack up to 50%.

Sounds pretty good, huh? Now its time to learn how to use the Enchantress.

The Enchantress's Stats
You get 275 stat points by level 56. Here are common Enchantress builds. I will explain the stats better in the Builds section of the guide.
NOTE: I am still 5 points short, due to level 56 elite cap.

All three stats increase almost everything. This tells what each stat increases the greatest.
Str increases your armor, dodge, health regeneration, and total health.
Dex increases your critical hit chance, hit percent, and Damage Per Second.
Int increases your spell damage, mana regeneration, and total mana.

The Enchantress's Spells
You get 55 skill points total to put into the 12 spells. The Max level on each spell is 6.

Enchantress Gears

Item Color

Pink - Legendary
Purple - Epic
Green - Rare
Orange - Uncommon
White - Common
Grey - Trash

There are three sub-classes of gears within the actual Enchantress gear.

There are gears that boost Int
There are gears that boost Dex
There are gears that boost Str

They all are Enchantress gear but they boost different stats, They are only found in Level 35-45 gears. The top level 55 gear(s) all have their advantages and disadvantages. There are gears that have bonus's if you have the entire set equipped. I will get into these bonus's later in Gear Bonus section.

Common Question: Staffs or Wands?
Staffs and wands both have advantages and disadvantages.

Staffs
Advantages: Staffs have high damage, they also increase hit percent and critical.
Disadvantages: Staffs have slower strike times and staffs have lower armor. Staffs don't boost Healthpoint and Manapoint regeneration rates as much.

Wands
Advantages: Wands have higher speed, so they can make up for their loss of damage. They have higher armor, dodge, Manapool, Heathpool, Manapoint regeneration, and Healthpoint regeneration. They get all of this from the bracer or eye.
Disadvantages: Since Wands have lower damage, that means that your spells are not as powerful.

I suggest you have both a wand and staff ready to use. Why? There is no right setup for every situation. The party setup could be bad, where you find yourself taking damage way to much. That would be a situation for a Wand. If your party looks good and you are confident in your ability to survive, then switch over to the staff for extra group damage.

What You Should Wear
Enchantress's should always wear the gear that boosts their Manapool and Manapoint Regeneration, Damage comes next. Never ever give up armor for damage or Mana!

Wondering what the best armor is for your current level? Well your in luck! Yanis (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/member.php?15108-Yanis) has amazingly tracked, documented and posted every pink item in the game!!! You can find all the pink items in the game on the following links.

The Five Enchantress Builds
These are five different builds that are most commonly used by Enchantress's.

Paladin - Lvl 55

Paladin's are basically Bears with Enchantress Spells
Paladins use all Bear equipment
Paladins have very high armor, dodge, Healthpool, and Healthpoint Regeneration
Paladins have very high dungeon survivability
BUILD: 173 STR, 105 INT - 139 STR 139 INT recommended!
In order to be a Paladin, you must have at least enough strength to put on Bear gear. The rest should be put into Int. Some Paladins basically convert themselves to bears and go full Strength, which I highly do not recommend!
Paladin picture (http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab276/brandonb3/Enchantress%20Class%20Headquarters/4a9ce338.jpg)

Hybrid - Lvl 55

Hybrids are Enchantress's that can equip all Enchantress gears but have stat points put into other skills for the benefits.
Hybrids generally sacrifice Int and its benefits in return for Str and its benefits.
Hybrids have less damage then pure mages but have higher survivability with the additional armor.
BUILD: 173 INT, 105 STR
Hybrids are good because Pure Int mages are known to be extremely hard to play by the fact that they can get one hit killed. 1V1 a Pure Int mage is likely to win though.
Hybrid picture (http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab276/brandonb3/Enchantress%20Class%20Headquarters/109d7583.jpg)

Pure Int Mage - Lvl 55

Pure Int Mages have the highest damage in the game. thousands of damage dealt per second with group damage spells.
Pure Int Mages are incredibly weak when it comes to survivability. They rely on bears to take aggression for them.
Pure Int Mages tend to rely on their buffs/debuffs to survive as well.
BUILD: 277 INT
I consider Pure Int Mages to be "Expert Mode" Builds. They are incredibly hard to play. Once you master them though, they are the deadliest Builds in the game.
Pure Int Mage picture (http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab276/brandonb3/Enchantress%20Class%20Headquarters/b64d26ec.jpg)

Dual Build - Lvl 55

Dual Build allows you to wear two top level gears without reallocating your characters stats.
Dual Build is the most balanced setup in the game.
Dual Build is mainly a PvE build.
Dual Builds sacrifice additional stat bonus's in both fields in return for the ability to wear two gears
Dual Builds use several low level items in order to equip the top level items.
BUILD: 139 INT 139 STR or 140 INT 139 DEX

Dual builds are the ideal class to have in a PvE party. This is because you can play two roles in the party. Its like having two characters in the party playing as one, except you can only do one at a time. The Jack of all trades. Paladins are suited for both PvP and PvE with this build/
Dual Build Int Dex Mage Picture (http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab276/brandonb3/Enchantress%20Class%20Headquarters/344df319.jpg)

Dex Enchantress - Lvl 55

Dex Enchantresses are really weak unbuffed, but incredibly strong when they have their buffs up.
Dex Enchantresses wear Bird Armor.
Dex Enchantresses usually support fire and take little aggro.
Dex Enchantresses specialize in 1v1 damage, like birds do.
Dex Enchantresses have weak to medium spell damage, depending on your stat distribution.
Basically, they are a lot like birds, just with Mage Spells.
BUILD: 173 DEX 106 INT or 272 DEX

Dex Enchantresses are basically birds, I will leave it at that. Strong 1v1 damage and weak multi damage.
Dex Enchantress Picture (http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab276/brandonb3/Enchantress%20Class%20Headquarters/enchantress.png)

Dual Build
There is already a amazing guide on Dual Building so I am not going to go into much detail.
Amazing Dual Build Guide (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?13772-Dual-Spec-Guide.&highlight=dual+spec)

There are two kinds of Dual Builds possible for Enchantress's.
The combinations are

Dual Build with Int and Str
Dual Build with Int and Dex
Str and Dex cannot be done on Enchantress due to a lack of stat points

You might be wondering how you can equip two top gears with this when you only have 139 stat points out of the needed 173. The answer is Gear. Gears boost up your Stats, if you have the right gear you can equip up to 173.

The gear you use are not very specific.
What you need

The top level gears for each set *One handed weapon and shield/eye*
Two full sets of Pink Level 50 gear - One set is for Int and the other set is for the other skill you are Dual Building.
You will need a one handed weapon and shield/eye for both sets.
Four low level Pink items - It doesn't matter what kind they are (helm, weapon, Armor, shield). Two will be for Int and the other two will be for the other skill you are Dual Building.
Once you have these, follow these steps.

How to Equip

Put on your two low level Pink items for that skill.
Now start equipping the level 50 items, You will need to equip the Helm first.
Now equip your level 55 items, You will need to equip the Helm first again.

Spell Combinations
A Spell Combination is a order in which Spells are casted in order to receive a bonus.

The Enchantress has 5 Spell Combinations.

Hot Flash! - Only requires Enchantress; Spell Order is Ice Storm + Fire Storm =
Hot Flash! Group Combo. The Single Target Hot Flash! Spell Order is Frost Bite + Fire Storm = Hot Flash! Single Target Combo. Effects: Blasts target back temperately stunning them. Also casts 1-3/10ths damage extra of Fire Storm.

Nature Strike! - Requires both a Enchantress and Bird; Spell Order is Thorn Wall + Lightning = Nature Strike! Group Combo. The Single Target Nature Strike! Spell Order is Thorn Root + Lightning = Nature Strike! Single Target Combo. Effects:Stuns target temperately and reduces Dodge. Also casts 1-5/10ths extra Lightning damage.

Terror! - Requires both a Enchantress and Bear; Spell Order is Nightmare + Hell Scream = Terror! Group Combo. Effects: Debuff is 10-25% more effective.

Ice Melt! - Requirements: Fire Weapon; Once you cast Frostbite or Ice Storm on a enemy they will be frozen. Once you attack them with a Fire Weapon, they will take 1-5/10ths extra damage of the weapon base damage.

Shattering Blast! - Requires both a Enchantress and Bear; Spell Order is Ice Storm + Stomp = Shattering Blast! Group Combo. The Single Target Shattering Blast Combo Spell Order is Frost Bite + Stomp = Shattering Blast! Single Target Combo. Effects: Blasts enemies back temperately stunning them. Casts 1-5/10ths extra damage of the Stomp attack.

Other Combo-Like Terms
Here are some examples of terms players often confuse for combos. These are positive and negative effects on your player. Like Poison Gas! is a debuff, it strips you of your buffs and weakens you. It will say Cured! when the effects wear off.

Clear Headed!
Free!
Unrooted!
Cured!
Mended!
Absorbed!
Rejuvenate!
Fearless!
Humiliate!
Fester!
Poison Gas!

Procs
Procs are abilities that weapons have, they occur randomly within the weapon. They show in the same way as combo-like terms do and actual combos do. Like gemstone wands have a proc ability of "Nightmare". This is a debuff, and also will stop your enemy from moving, basically stunned. Another example of a mage proc would be the Keeper Staff of the Cosmos. This weapon has a "Face Melt" proc ability. All it does is it induces extra damage on the target.

Here is another guide for all combos for other classes. Combo Guide (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?9817-super-awesome-stuff&highlight=super+cool)

Gear Bonus's
There are some gears in this game that provide hidden bonus's. You get the bonus by equipping certain gears. You can tell that you have a gear bonus because sparkles will come out of your upper torso/head. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Enchantress has four gear set bonus's. Cyber bonus (Staff), Cyber Bonus (Doll), Cosmos bonus and toad bonus.

Cyber Bonus - Staff - Level 50
Equipment -
Helm; Cyber Skull of the Cosmos
Weapon; Cyber Staff of the Cosmos
Armor; Cyber Armor of the Cosmos
Bonus: +5 Armor, + 1 Mana Regeneration, +25 Healthpool, + 25 Manapool, + 10 Damage Per Second and +11 Base Damage.

Cyber Bonus - Doll/Wand - Level 50

Weapon; Laser Wand of the Cosmos
Armor; Cyber Armor of the Cosmos
Bracer; Cyber Doll of the Cosmos

Thanks for the guide it'll help me learn a bit more. Basic question, as far as gear goes I see the links you put but honestly know nothing about sets or anything. My question is what would you recommend a new enchantress gear wise with less than lets say 100k to purchase to have a decent time leveling up with not the best equipment, but do able. Thanks

What's your character's level? That changes the gear dramitically. You should refreash gear every 10 levels or so, and buy purple/pink items. Always. And sell the items you bought, for more if you can. This is a good way to make money, too. :)
