How do I make a poll?

Judging by the various threads on the upcoming level cap raise, it seems that significantly more people are against it than for it, but I'd like to make a poll and try to get more forum users' opinion on it.

STS' devs have a reputation of listening to the players; let's see if they still do.

Pretty sure polls are only allowed in Off Topic Discussion, so you're forced to make an off topic thread about an on topic issue.

I don't think STS likes people to make petitions (if you can call this one) about things. They would rather people discuss them intelligently in a thread than take votes on whether or not something should or shouldn't happen.

If you do make a poll for a petition, be prepared to have it locked. :)
