Enchantress are the best bcuz they hit higher than a archer but lower than a bear, they hit faster than a bear but slower than an archer, they can revive others and heal themselves, and lastly they can hit from a distance unlike bears.

Aoe Damage Mage Bird bear
Single target Damage Bird Mage Bear
Quickness (dps) bird Mage Bear
Range Bird Mage Bear
Health spells Mage Bear Bird
Tanking (armor) Bear Mage Bird (unless the bird dodges a lot..) (depending if mage/bird is wearing bracer/ wing shield..)
Stunning Bear Bird Mage
I could go on forever showing u how the characters are evend out but that's about it

Mages are the only ones that can heal a lot very quickly too! :)

Yes, they're all equal because mage has high dmg with mana shield, but no dodge. Archer doesn't have a mana shield, but the dodge is insane. Bears have high armor and regular damage, but hybrid builds usually change that making the classes even. Even if mages do have a ton of crit. :)

I'm not going to get into which one is better because it depends on what you like to run. Mages are squishy no getting around it. I'm a Mage so I know. Mage gets one shotted by Gurgox from OUTSIDE the room. Yep got about 5 or 6 deaths that way LOL. If u run with a player who knows how to play his/her character then everything is equal. Bear pulls mobs, Mage kills mobs and bird deals amazing damage to boss. I personally know birds with over 400 dps, may even be higher now havent checked recently. I'm lvl 60 Mage almost pure int and I can't even touch that in dps.
All characters should remember that their class fills a role in a party. It's not who is better it's accomplishing the goal.
A mage was my first character and will always be my favorite but I have a soft spot for my int bear and dex bear :o

They are great. My first was an Archer, my second a Enchantress and by far I am having more fun as an enchantress.

Pardon me for saying so but this thread is relatively pointless. All classes are equal, it only depends on how you use their individual abilities and your experience to the extent.

:O well as it is like this, i love using my bird its just so awesome a bow weilding bird shooting arrows as fast as lightning and i love it more in pvp lol

I huge thanks for saying this so well.
I have been playing PL for a while now and can run
through dungeons with bears and birds who play their toons to the max
and we have a blast!!! I have also played with toons who just sit there while
I have to pop health pots and take agro and basically end up dead on the floor
because no one else will step up. The best being after I am dead these players
will sit on the floor dead telling me to walk back and revive. Thats where I draw
the line and leave that game. We all play as a team and we win. Play just to sit
and gain xp we all lose. Thats how I have come to see this game....
