Give it a shot you might really like it. Starting a new game is always fun and exciting. Try the mage class its the funnest class, plus your blue

id say try it,the mechanics and gameplay is why i mostly play AL

The only problem I can see for you is that this current seasons requires hours upon hours of grinding just to progress to the higher levels of the map so be prepared to face one of the most boring grinds in the game. On the other hand, the gold drop is great.
