Introducing new daily login....get a bonus when you login in:).
Whenever you login you get a little bonus....
Examples:
Daily login bonus day 1: 10mana and 10heath pots
Daily 2: something a bit better than daily 1
Daily 3: something better than daily 2
Daily 4: something better than 3
Daily 5: somethjng better than 4
Once you reach daily 5 you get that bonus everytime you login. But if you forget to login even for one day you restart at daily 1.

How many people buy pots w/ plat, sts wouldnt lose any money for giving free health pots >_<
I like the free pots bonus concept, but maybe the consecutive days should be higher before anything more substantial is offered. Great idea though! Keeps people coming back every day :apple:

that was an example and still what if someone just resets the clock and getts it over and over again. And what if someone went on vacation with no Wi-Fi or 3G? whould it be fair that just because the persons on vacation he cant get the "Login Bonus"?
The nitty gritty of the idea would, understandably, need to be hashed out, but as long as we're in the dreaming stage...:o

If the only point of your new suggestion is to give incentive for players to log on everyday then I'd say the daily elixir is used to serve that exact purpose. I know I make sure to log at least 5 min per toon every 24 hours to get the triple boost. Seems like this idea isn't any better, unless the prizes are more substantial.
STS is potentially losing money with the free elixirs as a 3x bonus is only available via plat, sure they lowered the timer but it's still a taste of the good life if only for 5 minutes. Giving away something else for logging in daily would eventually have to be a plat prize in the end so STS would lose more money on top for little to no return. Giving away free elixirs is used as a marketing tool to get players to buy more, what aspect of the game would a free daily log in gift use in order to generate more income for the company?

I am pretty sure you could call your free daily elixir your daily login bonus ;)
