what to do when scamed?

I'm was bf with a guy he bought me a vanity called comedy and just now he asked "hey baby I can get you the mechanical helmet if you give me the vanity back" so I trust him and give it to him I leave the game and go to blackstar

And at that moment I got scamed he deleted me and maybe ignored me im really sad I know this forum is bad to some people but ask yourself this...would you like to be scamed from a very very rare item?

Well I don't know what to do I hope some one can answer my question :'(

I also help it was on cs for 120k so he had 110k so I gave him 10k so he can get it for me and yea the scam is also the 10k

So technically he "scammed" you out of 10k?
Also giving the name of the person in a thread isn't a good choice.

Your best shot is to ask for support as mentioned in my first post here. They'll tell you their best solution when you ask for help.

Also, don't share any excess information. Forums are brutal and judgemental upon other people for the smallest reasons.

I really think we need to bottom-line this one, so here goes:

1. It doesn't matter if he bought it or not. He gave it to her. As soon as he did, it stopped being his property, and started being hers. The fact that 10k of her money went toward its purchase is entirely beside the point.

2. If what she describes is true, and he offered to exchange one item for another, then took the item and did not follow through, she was scammed. I don't really see the confusion here. He took something of hers (refer to item #1 above) with the understanding that he would offer something else in return, and then did not meet his end of the deal. If that's not the definition of a scam, I don't know what is!

3. As others (who are very wise in the way of forum etiquette) have already mentioned, leave exact names out of your posts. As I have said in other threads, it is essentially calling-out the person in question and inviting them to a flame war (for which you may be held responsible for starting). Save such details for your contact with STS. Additionally, I recommend you edit your original post (OP) to remove references to names.

4. The person in question may know the CEO of STS. They may also know the President of the United States and the Queen of England. If they have broken STS's ToS, such relationships will not protect them. If anything, they may get to hear straight from the CEO of STS about why they are being disciplined. ;)

meganlovesyou, I hope you find resolution. If at all possible, try to work things out with the person in question directly. If that is not possible, report and contact STS support and prepare for an investigation of your account, as well.

Iv had previously had this kinda statement as well.. have screenshots also just not had time to send to Sam/Support.

Maybe missing the fact that the 10k is the scan.. imagine them doing that to 10+ people 100k in pocket and if they were willing to give the vanity in first place why would you question if they would not do the swap. 'The Real Hustle'

And if you would like to get this resolved your best option is to email support like Draco stated.. hope it all works out for you.. devs can go back and check all chat logs from the incident to see what the real story is :) so if what you said word for word did happen you will be fine as you're in the right :)
