View Full Version : Is there a market for this type of art?

I see a lot of signature/gfx shops but no one really offering toon art.
I'm far from being an artist, but if I can make some money on the side on a hobby I enjoy, that'd be amazing.
Would anyone be interested in art of their characters though?

EDIT:
If anyone would like to commission a piece, please pm or reply with the following information:
- HQ Screenshot of your toon.
- List of all visible equipment/vanities.
- References to poses/faces (Eye color, face shape, smile/lips, etc).
- Offer (in gold or items).
Base prices:
Bust - 200K
Waist - 300K
Full Body - 400K
Busts will have more detail compared to waists/fb's at base prices.
The more gold you offer the more inclined I am to include details (because they do take a lot of time!).
I can include simple companions in your art regardless of what you offer. :-D

Also willing to do flat vector portraits of you (or someone you know) in real life for 400K. :)

Nuu, that's nott how it works.
The artist pays the model for drawing them.
I'll let you draw my Nottiness for 50m gold pieces, cash must be paid upfront and I don't bargain with the price.
I only have two pieces of gum, lint, and dead moths in my pockets. :hopelessness:

I'll take the whole trousers, with everything in them except the gum.
(Nott gonna trust gum again!)
No gum, no deal. :chargrined:

That is exactly why I'm letting you keep the gum!

It's just regular Google Drawing. It's definitely not an art software because you don't actually "draw", but for minimalist vector art it's pretty okay. :encouragement:
These drawings are truly professional. Very unique style!

More practice with shading. The quality of art you can make with Google Drawing is surprising, but no layers is a pain. :boxing:

There's always several free drawing programs that offer that. I don't know how you can make these without layers.
Check out Autodesk, FireAlpaca / MediBang, Krita, etc.! :D
