The Chancel of Light committed every facet of its power to defeat Corvis the Necromancer. Whilst their attention heaped upon the graveyard and mausoleum, no one noticed the Thing that crept into the village of Gloomhills... to possess a young child and bring about an Age of Terror.


Orientation


This expansion is a bit different than some of our previous ones. In particular there is no new Towne.

- It kicks off from the Chancel of Light, but does not require Mausoleum access.
- It contains new zones for levels 61 - 65 that are accessed in a special fashion via {DAILY} quests (repeat daily visits are available for GOLD).
- You can also purchase Platinum Dreaming Dust to access a solo instance with huge speed, damage, and resistance buffs and a ton more XP.
- Best gear for this is Voice of the Order and Banished Power sets, they have their buffs in these zones.
- These zones are the best place to gain XP, but we will also sell XP from the store.
- At level 66, a completely new 12-player raid zone opens up that is also accessed in a special fashion via {DAILY} quests (repeat daily visits are available for GOLD).
- This zone drops Level 66 Sets of Armor, Helms, Belts, Amulets, and Rings.
- You can purchase special buffs in this zone for GOLD.
- This zone also drops components to craft Level 66 Legendary Weapons.
- Equipping Level 66 Legendary Weapons opens up a quest for Level 66 Mythic Weapons.
- Level 66 Arcane Weapons will be available from instant-open Massive Nightmare Chests.

The quest series begins at the Chancel of Light by talking to Gunther:

Another difference is that most of the grind content happens from 61-65. Visit the Dreamscape [DAILY]

Yes. Indeed!

Pro tip: you'll want to also use the Loot Reroll Elixir since the experience packages in the Dreamscape zones are literal drops.

Now this is the expansion i can get behind. It has excellent vanities and gameplay feel almost like the neether and redstone. +1. I love the look of the weapons... the the mage gun and warrior is sick so really looking forward to getting them even though i only play rogue. i am keen to find their buff. +1. Amazing idea to implement the raid with bed. I dont have one but many friends do so great that anyone can enter map using any bed +1. I am so happy that gold is used instead of plat for re runs +1 but hopefully it is a reasonable amount of gold 2-10k? so that u can actually get at least 50% of the gold back from running the map and killing bosses without using a gold loot so people can afford to run maps (regular people). +1 if this would happen. I am glad this system is used for the 'gold sink' people been rambling on for weeks +1 ( this does contradict my previous statement but the rich still need to make money; dont ask me why ). The story is creative +1. SO in total i would say +5 to this expansion!!! Good job to all those for suggestions and making this expansion great. This is for both dev and the players!! Glad we worked this out well together. I also want to point out that Now, I will definately buy 1700 platnum this week for expansion not because i have to, in order to enjoy or play this expansion but because i am happy for such great content. Looking forward to opening those locked and I would really appreciate if Justg did some magic and sent over some luck with locked in my direction haha

How does the 12 player raid zone work? Is it party based? How do 12 players end up in the zone? Do they have to all be in the same house sleeping? If I go to sleep in my house will I be taken to the zone with 11 random players or 11 guildmates? Can we get more info on this?

My biggest question is will the Voice/Banished sets work in the 66 Nightmare zone? Also will the amount of gold to reset the daily quests be fair and will the gold drops in the maps be sufficient enough to not rely on item drops to make a profit? (Of course in reason with the cost of the daily quest reset via gold). My only fear is that players will turn to mausoleum for their main gold source due to the great profits already made from it.

anyway, since you made furniture and housing to become significant in gameplay (it was previously designed and confirmed by devs that housing/furniture won't effect gameplay significantly), can you also reconsider:

1. victus fragment/runes to be farmable by end-gamer, to give equal chance for everyone to farm.
2. enhancement to be locked, let's say no more than one for each type of enhancement can be locked. please sincerely reduce the very high randomness in enhancements.
3. shared pet stable :D

One question though .....is It possible to increase the bed-supplies ? If not it's ok. We shouldn't ask more than you've already done !

Banished set decreases armor dramatically (in comparison with voice set --especially for warriors). Antignome set's stats will be even more horrible. Even if it's buff stats work it will still be useless

There are two dailies dreamscape for level 61 to 66 (needs own house and bed) and nightmare level 66 only( can be anyone's house/bed).

Since there will be activities that will be access-based, there should be an expected increase in drop chances and gold and XP.

As for the raid,it needs to have guarenteed drops with a reasonable chance higher tier gear (mythic-heroic) because 12 people makes it sound like it's going to be one tough raid and being in activity for hours with no reward gives the worst feeling ever.

There is a glitch with "the dream expands" quest. First go I accidentally hit the back button and didn't accept the quest after I woke from the dream. It didn't show up for me again at reset. Can I get some help please?

"Shared house" could be very interesting.
I mean I have 3 alts in one account.
I would like to go to my alt house (within one account) as owner...

One additional thing: stash chest.
Long time ago house stash chest was usabe for everyone (ofc. was able to get own stash).
Nowadays only the owner can use stash chest. Could be possible to revert/expand this fuctionality?

It looks all pieces of voice set can be crafted or purchased from NPC. But the voice chest piece cannot be found any where. So, i had to buy it from auction market. I wonder how to make it originally.Dark Aposils can craft armor chests (all race).
If you are Light Luminar, you will not able to craft armor but helm (which darks cannot craft). This is another example how the light and dark cannot live without each other...

Look at Runagain's Somberholt guide, it's all there. Voice buffs also work in Forgotten Ruins.
