You can also farm locks (if you have lepre, eventually arlorian ring and I suggest luck elisir):
- first kraken isles map (2 boss). "Long" map with ppl wearing speedset that sometimes doesn't wait.
- fourth Shuyal map. 35 sec map. Go straight in the middle of map to find boss then turn left for the statue.
Both normal maps not elite

You can farm Arcane Chest in all dead city NORMAL maps (elite maps doesn't drop it!!!!!!). Doesn't require luck. (With luck you can farm eventually locks but not best maps). Chest can drop for mobs or boss (higher chance on boss).
Not easy to find (you can spend many many hours before finding one) but good money (1.4-1.6M).

When you will be strong enough (my understanding from other posts is that you are levelling up) and can afford a gold loot equip, southern gates elite boss gives you good money.

Then mausoleum gives you best gold drop. Especially last maps.
