Be aware of new scam

Players are now selling shivering ice wings for 20x their original price, because it looks like a bat wing. One player was actually (let's just say...) silly enough to actually buy one for 400k. A lvl 61 player wearing demonic was selling them and I knew he knew better than to scam people.

All pink frosty snowbird wings were changed:) Frosty snowbird wing of legend and co as frosty snowbird wing drop in LE, while shivering (one with best stats) drops in FN.

Shivering Frozen Wing which is part of the Shivering Dagger Set, drops from Frozen Nightmares.
I stated in my guide that Return of Tha' King was the best place to farm for it.
On topic, I do like the new designs, good to see STS revamping old almost-forgotten things.
That's what I love about MMOs.
Also, bat wing on time for Halloween? I feel joyful.

He's taking advantage of players that think it's a new item and worth alot. He tried to sell me one so that why I'm acting like this. It's not right...

I was pretty skeptical when a guy tried to sell me a "bat wing" (shiver wing) for 10k, personally i didnt think it was worth it cuz im not sure if the change is permanent. If it is permanent im gonna farm one for looks :)

10k is actually about the normal price for the wing so it was a fine deal

It *is* horribly overpricing something, but a scam it is not.

I have a shivering wing equipped and didn't even know what people were talking about when they were asking me about my bat wing. haha. I even swtich to a bow because i couldn't play so many people were asking about it. :)

I went to CS and it's not just the shivering wings, it's all the dex wings from lost expedition or frozen nightmares. Even the white "wings of power" (or whatever they're called) from there look like bat wings. So if you want to save some cash you can just pick up one of the cheap ones.

i looked on my dex bear out of curiosity, lo and behold i had one in my inventory :)
looks too cool, and at 30-40k now its not worth it to sell.

Sam, just out of curiousity...how is this different than selling Big Luck for 75 plat last month when they originally were 15 when they came out? It's supply and demand right? An objects worth is however much someone is willing to pay.

theres really no difference. just people being smart :p. The one's overpricing these aren't very bright, as no one's really going to buy them and they'd be losing money putting them up in the CS. i guess the hype died out already; the cheapest in CS is 40k. not worth selling imo

Yeah, I don't consider it a scam but it sounded like Sam did so I was just wondering.
I do like the bat wing look though, that's one thing I'll have to praise the devs over. They sneaked that one in on us! People kept asking me where I got my bat wing and I was like "Idk!!!!". haha.

I would buy a new one for more, its supply and demand, now that it looks awesome it is worth more. How much do u think glyph would sell for if it just looked like default lvl1 armor?

Maybe this is an accidental peak at something that is coming in Mount Fang. Maybe they took some of these wings and modified their stats and image, and accidentally put them in to this patch. Or maybe its just a temporary halloween thing.

I'd say it's halloween. I'd hate to think there will be tons of people with level 30 wings running in mount fang. You never know though!

IT's NOT JUST LEVEL 30 FROSTY WINGS, All originally "White" wings are replaced, as you can see in the picture of the level 2 wing which used to be white and is now the bat wing.
