Art contest! Design the Ambassadors of Alterra logo

[Pandar]

With the announcement of the Ambassadors of Alterra (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?40219-Introducing-the-Ambassadors-of-Alterra&p=453953), the next logical step is we need a logo for the program!

We thought it would be fun to make a contest out of it - so we are asking for your designs! You have a week to submit your entries, just go ahead and post them as an attachment to this thread. Submissions will be open until next Wednesday (October 26th). The Ambassadors will then vote on their favorite and determine the winner.

Keep in mind that your design should be shaped like a square (I'd recommend 500 x 500) so it can be used as a forum avatar. Whatever goes in that square is up to you! Let's see what you've got!

I actually kind of like this, its really plain, simple and to the point. Has the name: check and basically tells you what its for. Maybe a nice gold border could be added? :D

Mine has a sheild with AoA but made of items swords daggers staffs and talons the O is a sheild spike you see a bird beak a fluffy pair of bear ears and the hood with bareky the face of an enchantress :P and on the sheild it says WE HELP You

Thanks! Every hear the phrase "less is more" ? If I put AoA, it'll be too much and ruin the design. The ? Is simple, and does the trick :)

I think maybe instead of a shield, we make use of what new players are already used to -- tapping on the yellow quest Exclamations and Question marks.

So my suggestion is a monk-like, acolyte-like helper character with a Blue or Green ? above their heads, a la:

Tapping on players with this over their heads would bring up the chat window, either in a directed chat directly at the Helper, or in a global chat, visible to the whole Town or Instance. If it's global, perhaps it can appear as:

to distinguish it from other chat. I actually thought a private conversation might be better, as newbies might not know how to chat, but then what happens if the Helper is busy...?

Picking a color of shield would be awesome. I'm liking Fryces idea and Mastercons so far. Except master con you might want to change the water drop into a regular period.

I just had an epic idea. What about duel wielding question marks? Somebody could draw this, but it would be much more creative than some ordinary shield. It would make us look like ninjas!

Also, since purple seems to catch the eye of most people. Why not borrow the Nuri Glyph design, put a question mark on the chest and head, replacing the glyph engravings.
