What is a Phoenix?
A phoenix is a mythical creature that lives for hundreds of years. At the end of its life cycle, it burns itself into ashes, from which a new phoenix is reborn to live again.

About the Guild

Phoenix is a new and upcoming guild in Star Legends. The guild was inspired by a tight-knit group of knowledgeable individuals looking for a new beginning. Our core group consists of well-known and respected players which will ensure the growth of our guild towards a positive route. However, we are not just your typical happy-go-lucky guild, we are striving to be the best!


What Does Phoenix Have To Offer?

Like most guilds, we have the basic necessities such as a Tier 3 Guild Hall and a Guild Bank system. However, our system will be monitored VERY strictly. Members applying for the guild will be screened carefully—we won’t just take everyone who wants to join the guild. Our Guild Bank system was created to ensure that the deserving members receive the gear they need. The position Officer will be an earned title, and it will take dedication towards the guild and its members to be one—which means that this position will be limited. In short, guild and game rules are a big part of the guild’s foundation.

However, we want to make sure that every member enjoys Phoenix and everyone feels equally treated amongst other members. Just because you are a friend of a GM and/or Officer, does not give you a higher authority over regular members. This also means guild events, banker hours, and xp runs are suitable for all the members. We also have a bunch of humorous people in the guild, including Yours Truly, for those days when you just want to kick back and just chill with friends.

Yay! I am so excited you like it Crummy! We really do enjoy having you as well ;-) Mature was key for our guild but we also want players that would grind when we got down to business but also know that when we sit back and take a chill pill we like to have fun and goof around a lot! I have seen many non-members say "all phoenix does is stand around on b*" but as of tonight I think we have 7 or 8 36s, of course we aren't on the lbs, but that's not needed for us! I was surprised to see so many names of friends from Neon Genesis and other guilds on the roster and I'm hoping to see more of you applying soon. I'm taking extra classes so being a GM just doesn't fit my lifestyle anymore.

I needed a guild with a team of leaders that, like Neon Genesis, focuses on choosing their members based on personality and maturity rather than level or skill, which seems to be a thing of rarity in this particular environment. However, the officers/recruiters of Phoenix are apparently far more attentive than the officers I had previously chosen for my guild towards the importance of identifying and enlisting these like-minded, intelligent, humble, kind, and sometimes very funny people (which is also why we don't have 800 people on our roster....)

You have not only given me a sense of trust and camaraderie, but sanctuary, as I no longer feel the need to pick up my phone just to babysit, No longer do I need to feel any kind of anxiety while I, for example, prepare for a 5 day trip into the mountains, meanwhile a nefarious gang calculates how they are going to defile a guild without the intervention of it's leader. You have allowed me time to actually focus on and enjoy the game. It's a blessing. No, it's Phoenix!

The only thing about the whole collaboration is, it that took TWO DAYS to get enlisted, and that's not to include the time I spent reading the rules and filling out my application. Can you believe that? TWO DAYS to get a bloody invite and the application took forever to fill! But I know why they choose to do it this way ;) Do you?. Why not take me for a trial run in order to observe the way I play (like some guilds do)? There's a good answer for that too, I can assure you that :cupcake:.

You're level 36. You've got legendary weapons and a full set of custom armor. You're standing there in base, guild-less. I wonder, how many random invites do you get? How many recruiters actually engage conversation with you? How many people do you run with actually want to know who you are? How many people do you run into actually want to know what you are like, your interests, just to see if they can relate to you in any way besides enjoying shooting at androids? Maybe you've hardly considered the guildsmanship aspect of the game, maybe you just prefer to be the lone wolf or don't speak a common language. Truth be told, even a belligerent juvenile may pose the mental faculty of being an efficient player, and with Star Legends, wouldn't even need to ask mom for her credit card. Either way, Pheonix is gunna know which one of those you are should you choose to either approach one of us in-game or express yourself on our forums.

Although, I will concede that while I was filling out the application, 30 Seconds from Mars was playing in the background, thus, entirely captivating my experience. ROFL. I recommend playing music when filling out your application because the site itself is just gorgeous. I'm just I glad I waited two days to be part of this family whom all share the same interests and goals. Now I can finally say good-bye to Neon Genesis.

I agree this is a great guild and I'm very proud to be a part of it (smiley face thing here).

I know that filling out an on line application can be a pain in the (insert badish word here)... but I firmly believe it has been key in helping ensure the guild stays strong!! If you want it bad enough... it's worth the time (another smiley face thingy here).

Taking the time to fill out the app shows the dedication we hope to see from all members (overuse of smiley face thing by putting another one here)

If you are not LV 34+, I would be happy to help you level, if and when I can-- this would also give me a perfect opportunity to conduct a test run. I do not accept random f/r, so send me a private message in-game and have a chat with me first. Most of my character names are in my Signature. Also, If you have anymore questions feel free to ask them. I find myself spending a lot of time on my Op twink nowadays, his name is Brosophist, and you can most likely reach me on him in-game.

If you have any trouble contacting us, be patient... you're bound to run into a Phoenix... we tend to hangout on B* all day/night, everyday/night (Cross your fingers and hope we aren't idle).

Well, I'm not phoenix, but the app process is to give the officers info about your toons and to help them weed out undesirables. In IU, we figure that if it's that big of a deal that you can't take 5 minutes of your time to tell us a little about yourself, then you can go on about your merry way. It also gives us time to check with other guilds to give us some idea of what to expect from you.
