I'm sure it's just lag...but maybe not. I've never seen this in this game before.
Whenever there's a big group attacking me, and I'm spamming stim packs, I'll see my hp at about 1/3 or 1/4 of the max...but my stim packs will stop healing me, and I'll be dead on the ground. One time my health was almost at half when I was dead. It's happened multiple times to me, and only in the new shipyard maps.

I've seen this too. It's like the game is taking the hp away, but not updating the health status bar when (gulp!) death occurs.

You beat me to it, Kahlua. I had the same thing happen. Or worse yet, Crummy, it's allowing you to waste stims when you're already dead. :( Screenshot:

Yea it's a weird bug huh. Has happened to me once. I've sadly died 7 times in Shipyard now. :(

Happen to me too. Got a cap as well. Some of the wilder theories floating about in game is that the mobs throw some kind of invisible aoe bomb haha, well at least an over-dependence on stims doesn't help now so this is good and nice and scary for everyone haha

Not a theory--the guys in black robes log a grenade-type weapon that sticks to you and then goes off a short while later. If you see some greenish smoke around your char, make sure you're health is at a decent level because you're about to blow. :D
