why sts should add mounts in the game?(rideable pets)

Dear sts,

i think you should add rideable pets/mounts because it would make the game more enjoyable but forget that sentence i said and let me tell you how it would work.

where would rideablepet/mounts be used?
Rideable mounts are only rideable in cities,towns,houses and pve maps but not pvp maps
(housing has option where you can turn on or off if you allow mounts into your house)

What boosts would the rideable pets/mounts have?
each mount will have 1 option of boost so etc.......2% strength or 5%luck but these boosts would only be active in cities,towns,houses and pve maps (boosts will be unactive in pvp)
also every mount pet would have 100%movement(venom,toxic,noxious movement speed bonus will be turned off while riding on mount but turn back on when mount is unequiped and any other speed bonus will be left active such as elixirs and awaken bonus)

where would the rideable pets/mount be stored?
it would be stored in the egg/treasure slot as a egg/chest but when opened it would be transfered to the vanity section which would have a new slot called mount and you'll be able to equip and unequip which would also have a new item picture (saddle) or maybe a (carpet) if flying carpet is added
which was changed from the egg/chest picture when opened.

what would the items icon look like?
the mount egg/chest would have a greenbackground(could be any colour) and a egg/chest in the middle obviously but when opened it would be changed into a saddle (brown) or maybe somthing else cause the item could be some magical carpet and we all know that magical carpets don't hatch from eggs XD.

Are you able to teleport towns to towns using a mount pet?
yes when mount pet is equipped you would be able to teleport to towns,cities,houses and pve maps but when teleported to pvp map it will automatically unequip but it will reequip when you leave pvp.

Are we going to use old pets as mount or is sts going to make new designs for mounts?
well i think they should make new designs for mounts cause some people think it will un realistic as one person pointed out that ribbit wont be able to jump when we are riding on it XD.

which type of mount have different item icon? etc.... nekro has a toxic egg
yes some mounts would be in chests such as the flying carpet and broomstick and some mount which are living animal will be opened from a egg etc.......lion,shark with legs(ripmaw,hammerjaw)

Can you sell your mount once opened?
No you will not be able to sell once opened.

will attacking animation have to change when on mount?(skills)
etc.......wind mill and skyward smash
i didn't check the sorcerers and rogues skills.


p.s. thank you if your read my whole thread and btw the egg/treasure slot is where you open locks and eggs :p

edit:Sts could make it just pure vanity which is only to be used in cities,towns,housimg just for some extra decoration for our characters but it would be better with stats (my opinion)

well they could pause venom,nox,tox speed movement bonus while riding on mount and turn it back on when mount is unequiped.

Disabling the venom sets will be a major disappointment to venom set users as it decreases prices and kinda will cause an outrage among them as tons and tons of people have these sets ( me included )

Venom would still be the best for speed and it won't drop too much in value if mount pets do release so dont worry and btw venom would only be disabled while mounted as i said in the thread.
and also mounts will not be allowed to be used in pvp.

Mounts work in open world games where you have to travel from town to town where having a mount would speed up the travel time. Doesn't work so well in a game where you instantly travel to any town you want clicking it in the map screen.

Mount is possible but there should be a limit to it's function, speed boost but can't engage in combat you can only attack if you unmount.

i mean..in my opnion they should be a vanity, shouldnt add any stats locations are already enough..EVEN if it only works in pve etc say your party is using a mount and they got movment boost, you would have to charge gale..alwayse use SP or you wont catch up 100% is alot..so youd be forced to use SS? or buy a mount for yourself which im sure it would cost a ton of plat/gold...(tho psst. we dont need mounts just coz other games have it..AL is cool the way it is) but if they were to be implemented in a way which wont affect the gameplay, sure +1 ride dragons!

I think how you get the mount should be based on a type of reputation, Like certain achievements gives a mount or reaching a certain point total in somberholt, I don't want the mounts to all be a plat grab it's gotta be something were some one sees you with it and is like "wow that guy farmed hard to get that" I feel that at least some should be like this

Meh, its not open world, that you need mounts to travel. You cannot fight while mounted (its very difficult, point me any mmo that has it). So, they will be only for show... I am fine with it if they are small enough to mount and not so big that they hog the whole screen, make it crowded and drop my FPS.

Well with recent updates we’ve had it’s all recycled content and nothing new. I don’t think we are going to be able to ride any of our pets since it would be “too much work” as they say and if you closely examine them ,they all look like “baby’s” instead of full grown adults. If anything, in my opinion I’d rather have them add evolution to the pets then add mounts .Plus 3 years from now the game will cease to exist and the STS compony will move on to a different game, so far their best bet is Full metal jackpot.

OVERALL: Good idea just too late of an idea .

Im not sure you guys know how to play the game efficiently if you want mounts in pve maps, speed sets are a thing ya know. In my opinion, this idea is a complete waste of time for a game that isnt open world( seamless world.).

There were face options, clothing options, different hair designs and even plenty of vanities abailable in market. Some game even had a new aspect of collecting dyes and there are a lot of them, to dye your armor pieces to create your own unique look, and it was definitely a noticeable element of the game. A successful game mostly due to the awesomely drawn artwork throughout the game. For example The Fallout series has some of the most unique artwork in the gaming world, especially in the creative billboards and posters littered around the post apocalyptic world, which greatly enriches the gamer’s feeling of immersion within that world.

Second:

I have no objection on how worry you are on the "I suggest that player work on their level and stats" and you can grind as you please.
But if your definition of game improvement is limited to "Levelling and stat" you are such a naive person tbh.

You can customize a character stats also so i would see the word "cosmetic" to be more fitting,no?

You do understand that sts is a somewhat smaller development company right? As you bring up fallout(made by one of the largest dev companies in the world) i find myself questioning your scope of this game.

I still play old school games made 20 years ago, artwork isn't a must for me. "Action, challenge, grind: how would a mount that is mostly for sitting in town give you this?

Socializing is an enjoyment for me also, but at the same time these people that spend more time in town than playing the game tend to be the ones to say negative things regarding the state of the game. Run and gun or its no fun. I find running a map with someone can learn me alot about a person also, its at least anyother form of socializing.

I am part of a guild that likes to focus on end game content and farming those maps, events, ect. Yes sometimes there are gatherings but i would say alot of the great conversations that happen are through guild chat, so that is to include everyone if they wanted to be.

I have a few vanities i use, i wouldnt consider them fancy as if you were an end game player you could get them for maybe 4hours of farming.

Question for you then: would you rather sts cut back on what they are able to do now(again, smaller company) and work on this idea which would add no play value to the end game population. Or continue to do their best to fix, evolve, and add new things in the game that pertains to playable content? I'd go for the latter.
