Howdy folks,

We're winding down summertime and have something totally new for you this week.

Caveat - assuming the client gets approved by Apple!

Overview


- This new mode is for all players, regardless of level
- You will be matched with other players of your class
- It will try to match you with others of an appropriate level
- Access this map type by going to the World Map and selecting PvP (lower right corner):

- A new type of map is available for your class:

163141

- The map is a 2x2 square, you will be contained behind a wall until the map is fully populated:

163142

- One the match begins, the first player to 11 kills wins.

How about warrior vs warrior? It will take long and boring to kill each other zzzz.
How about New PvP map should be like avatar off, only pets and weapons could bring stats and proc., and others things like armor, helm, ring, pendant etc with same stats to all players. This PvP mode can be funny to all new, noobs, pro players, and you dont need to be rich to enjoy in this zone.
Because PvP mode nowadays is only for rich players.

I like the FFA idea. Warriors CAN do damage... those that focus on armor wont kill but may live... Balanced judicator is a fun wep for pvp.
Rogues will continue to need insane armor to survive each other longer than Nekro...
Mages will keep on being blue ;)

Nope. PvP matchmaking rules remain the same as always.

For those of you who aren't familiar with PvP in Arcane Legends, that's +2 or -2 Levels in all cases :-)

This isnt really gonna work with warriors lol, unless you reduce the cooldown on warriors healing abilities or give us some sort of crit/damage buff

Kk thanks cinco and yeaa +/- 2 levels gap distance for map zone and for cap usually only 1 lv (when the pvp maps were active).
For dmg boost on warrior I guess would be cool the same way as the proc of dusk claymore weps. -30% armor n +30% dmg if im not wrong.

Sent from my SM-G920I using TapatalkTf man its basically a 1v1v1v1 its a 2*2 square means that there r 4 spawn points so its a map for 4 players who can attack any other player in the map, its like you would be able to kill everyone in tdm and ofc better gear gives an advantage but shouldn't better gear alwwys give you an advantage? I understand your point that its unfair if you r getting matched up with only overgeared players. To fix they should, as u said, either match with the stats one got (but even that is quite hard to do since you can just change the gear if your in the pvp map) or they should implement some way where you can run away and try to let the op people kill each other and you just ks at the end.

Looking forward to possibly seeing the 'super smelly armor' vanity as a drop in the elondrian event. Hopefully its a green version of the 'Elite journeyman armor vanity' to match the 'super smelly helm' vanity :peaceful:

I'm actually wondering if a map like this will make PvP even more inactive, because players will separate more and more by adding more maps.

Either the new or old kdr layout, I think the old one was better and more clear compared to the new layout.

Altho the map seemed good inside, I still miss the chat box. As a PC player this isn't any problem at all, because you press [enter] and you can chat. Only for Phone, Tablet and IPad user this will be dificult to chat, sadly.. maybe sts can look into those things., would make it better I think.

theres always ctf, battle grounds, trulle, blood beach.
therefore i think they should implement the gear thingy( only 1 set of gears).
It wont hurt if theres ONE pvp map that has a geared base thingy.

So I tested and the only thing im not liking is that someone can join map and leave and it counts towards having a full team. I was the only one on my side and then 3 others joined the other side so it was 1v3 from the start. This was ok in ctf big map and u could kinda runaway from it. This new map is way to small to not start with a full team.

hes saying you could be paired with people either 2 levels above or 2 levels below your level, but not in the same map. like if you are level 15, you could be paired with lvl 17s and the map will be 15-17. or vice Versa the map could be 13-15. But if you are a lvl 16 in a 15-17 map, then it would be +-1 level

No. It's not just you xD.
Maybe we need to wait ursoth with prices down of arcanes weps..more accessible night sets and maybe lv cap FFA will be more active. If not enough..well maybe gap of those maps should be every 10 levels to make map active or idk..Basicly all pvp maps (at least at cap) are empty.
