A big issue of AL is lack of new players joining. This problem can be solved by adding master-apprentice system. More details could be: extra quests, exp, bonus, pets, loots, slots, gems ...for master and /or apprentice. Eventually, make higher lvl guys willing to help lower lvls.

This sounds like a great idea considering there isn't much for us high lvls to do. This would be a great way to be more involved

Technically, it may be easy to implement. It is similar to a mini guild, with a master of higher lvl, and 2 or 3 students. If master and student finish quests together, extra bonus can be applied to both. Easy pgrogramming, and flexible updates of new quests in future.

I really like this idea. Old and new players would benefit.

This is a great idea. Learning by playing with people who want to help you is so much better than trying to figure it out by yourself. I really wish I had this when I first started playing.

Lovely idea, you can contribute as Master and wait till two or three students are ready, and you help them and do quests together. But, the reward for higher levels should be worth it. No one is going to babysit new players to get 20 XP off a quest.

For easy implementation, no need to add a completly new system. Just add extra bonus if higher lvl guild members help lower lvls in guild to do certain quests, such as those achievements of killing hard elite bosses, nekro patchment quests, arena quests, planar pedant quests... Higher lvls can get award such as tickets for half hour of double loot from boss, gold loot, stats boost etc. Lower lvls can get extra exp, etc. So that all previous designed boost and bonus systems can be reused again. I v been as specific as possible, for the ease of programmers to implement because i v been a programmer as well.

I believe that some monsters scale to the highest level player in the zone. This means that if the player level difference is big enough, then the lower player would do no damage and in turn take a huge amount of damage. You can test this in someone's house with the book that summons a skeleton. So if sts were to do this, i would hope they rethink how monster scaling works so that both players would be able to contribute.
