Archer - Thorn Root issues

So i can't seem to make it work right 'cause whenever i use it on bosses, they can still move, doesn't work on those huge trolls either.
zombies, skeletons etc are fine though.
What am i doing wrong?

You can't root boss, theres couple where it works but for 95% it doesnt work.
So you're not doing anything wrong.

Yeah you can't root/freeze/stun boss.
I don't know about stun but it probably doesn't work. Don't think repulse works either.

I remember a thread saying the bigger a enemy, the harder to stun/root/freeze/repulse/fire/stomp but I remember repulsing gold fever lots of times

Repulse works on most bosses. Freeze, root and stun does not work on most bosses. The dodge debuff associated with the root should still work though..
