View Full Version : Mount Fang Portal in Phantom Crypt....

Hey guys,
I tried to look up a thread that was discussing this but couldn't find one so posting new... apologies if duplication.
I was wandering around Phantom Crypt... and... ended up in from of a sign reading: "Mount Fang" ... ---> that way.... GOT REALLY EXCITED!!!!
Proceeded towards the portal, it asked me if I wanted to proceed to Mount Fang (Duh!) ... and... got the "buy it with plat" screen (expected) and obviously: it is not yet available to buy (I had high hopes for about 5 seconds!!!). So still can't access it BUT at least it gives us a sense as to where it is going to be on the map... :-)))

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, it hasn't even been announced yet. That portal probably even isn't supposed to be there, so how reliable can that plat screen really be?
I hope we are given to mid-November for 61. I still have 9/10ths of the way to go to 61 for my bear and everybody is currently doing Halloween runs, so I can't do XP runs with my bear. :(

Fang is plat as far as i understand. Elite dungeon = plat

I did not mean to raise a problematic issue here, Sam said it was plat in a post if i remember well.

One may argue that Fang does not have to come out with the cap raise actually. It could be separate right?

That portal may he the cause of the fallen prince not giving shield dilema so its not supose to be there but it is :)

Not fair to call them "false", considering Mount Fang started off as an elite campaign for Nuri, and may very well still be. Devs change their minds on things all the time, so it isn't fair to call it a false rumor. It's as much as a false rumor as saying it will be free and raise the cap is. IMO, at least.

I remember that too... But, I also remember that they initially stated that it was going to be an elite dungeon... For plat. As mystical already said, devs a prone to change their minds, so we will only know for sure when it's finally released.

He posted in the halloween/mt fang thread that it would increase the level cap to 66 and be free.

Yeah i think it was free as it also rises the lvl cap to 66...
Looks epic but i really do hope they don't blast it at us likea surprise ...

A lvl 60 elite campaign and lvl cap raise in one ? Wow imagine trying to grind xp in that mofo!
Anyone who made it to 66 thru that would truly be elite!

This is a error which came out with 1.7.4 I think. Samhayne keeps telling me Mount Fang will be free. I hope so because I don't have anymore plat.

Easy my dear. Not trying to make false rumours, etc I am participating to a conversation and adding the information that I believe was correct. so .... chill please. Tho it may not be correct as shown in other posts.
Mount Fang will be free. The message about purchasing the campaign is just an error due to Mt. Fang still being in development. Thanks for the report!
