So a friend of mine has 79 house slots but he is only able to place 75, it won't let him place 4 more slots, is it a bug? He has a lodge

I have this exact same problem...I have 200 furniture slots and cannot place any after 150(I have a tavern). I've even emailed sts support sending them a video of the issue.

Check your Furnishings in the Other section of your Inventory. You'll need as many furnishing inventory slots as your house has to place the full amount.
