Does anybody else buy the original item in cs and not the one thats one gold cheaper?

Let me clarify. Lets say i want legend wings and they are 800k in cs then there are some that are 799,999 i would buy the 800k one because i think thats a cheap move. In my opinion you should drop by a larger amount. Obviously it scales with the items price.
I was just curious if anybody else did this as well?

Yeah I agree that undercutting by 1 gold is a cheap move, but many (including myself occasionally) do it. I also unconsciously buy the item 1 gold cheaper by habit, but sometimes I catch myself and buy the original item for the sake of the seller. Only time I really screwed someone over doing this was selling a TERME pulse cannon for 12,999,999 when he was selling for 13m. Mine sold and his never did. It soon dropped to under 1m a week later. Do I feel bad for him? Not really because I originally put mine up for higher and he undercut me first. The market on this game is dirty, and if someone undercuts you the best way to go about it is to undercut them right back in the face.

If it's a really shallow undercut, like 1 gold, I buy the original too, not the cheaper....

Why is this a cheap move? It's a marketing technique to make people think the item is cheaper because there's less numbers in the front. Retail companies do this all the time.

Kind of like when you watch the price is right and one of the contestants bids $1 more.
