Personally I am not sure whether Plasma Sword is as rare drop compared to others, however I have not seen it drop in many of my farm attempts.

The stats are decent, but not fantastic, but it procs lighning strike, which is kind of amazing.

Voodoo doll is rare but not nearly as rare as some of the pinks from AO2 (mainly Djinn Blade, Blasters, Dark Matter Staves, and Plasma Swords). There was a time when farming the swamps was easy, and a lot of dolls were found (I found at least 5 personally). I think people just hold on to them rather than selling so there aren't many on the market.

I saw someone's unmentionables last night, and one of those unmentionables was the Menes (?) Talon of Horus. This is a level 45 item. They said they acquired it two days after the release of AO2. I will see if I can get them to let me get the stats (and the item, heh) for this thread. If anyone else has this item, or any others like it, please include them in this thread.

Question: Did any of those contributors mentioned which map of AO2 drop those goodies?

Someone told me last night that these do not drop on Map 6 which everyone is farming on (kinda agreed with him, I run map 6 maybe at least 30 times), he says they drop on map 4.

And also there's another thread that says that they saw it dropping on map 5...

So my question is:- Are we all farming the wrong map? can someone confirm these rumors :)?

I believe Alien Blaster drops in MAP5, and Plasma Sword drops in MAP4, not sure about others.

The reason everyone farms Plasma Pyramid is because the drop rate are decent, MAP1-5 have horrible drop rates, I believe.

It's Galzyx, not galaxy, and my guess would be no. There seems to be one alien named item for each class: Galzyx staff for int, Ryylox blaster for dex, and whatever the green plasma sword is called for str (starts with a z I believe).

Smartress, I'll try to get the full Galzyx stats, but I'm pretty sure there was not much (if anything) beyond the regen and same damage/speed/armor as the other dark matter staves.

@Maneut, for example, the level 43 Alien Blaster and the level 45 Alien Blaster only differ as far as the base damage goes. I think it's the difference of 58-59 base damage on the level 43, and 59-60 base damage on the level 45. If the difference is something like that, and the base damage equip stats are as straightforward as they appear to be (meaning there is no damage multiplier or amplifier which could obscure the logic here), my question is, is it worth it to upgrade to the level 45 item? As I stated before, it looks like it's an expensive, minor side-grade, at best.

I know the wand is rare, because I've not seen one and I've been looking. Does anyone have any updates as to where it may be looted?

@Smartress, I've not seen much of the Desert Shadow staves for sale or anything. It looks like their damage is slightly less than that of the Set Lightning staves, but I've not seen any Thoth, Isis, Horus, or Osiris varieties at endgame levels yet.

EDIT: I am pretty sure D'Jinn Blade of Osiris has the same stats, except 93-119 damage, I had one...

The heading should be Rare Pinks from AO2, but I could not change it anymore.

Yes, I agree Swamp has some rare pinks like Voodoo Doll. However, it does not fit my original intention.

Also, some of the maps been farmed so much, I would not consider them rare anymore.

* Dagger - the price of a dagger is around 25-35K. My thoth shield is worth more than that.
* Alien Blaster, every 2nd hand hunter seems to have one to Piew Piew.

FYI. The Zuraz plasma stats changed from 7% Critical to 7% Dodge

All the .9 swords have changed to .5

Khopesh of Thoth
66-70 Damage, 0.5 Speed
8 Int, 3% Crit,6 M/S

Khopesh of Isis
66-70 Damage, .7 Speed 8% Dodge, 6 H/S

The description on the Osiris plasma sword is the same as the others, to get all the stats on all the other plasma swords take the stats from the level 45 versions and change the damage to 65-69 Damage, 0.7 speed.

Can you let me know which Royal Staff? Only Mastery staff has H/s and M/s, but they are only 2 each.
