- You underlined the impossibility to use an artifact over common rarity sounds good but who tell me a guild hasn't ready a full mythic artifact team? I am sure a guild can take this so smart action :)

1). I put the common artifact restriction as more of a way to keep the playing field fair for the less fortunate players but also the only restriction, so as not to undermine the players that have worked hard for their gear. As you have pointed out, I cannot control whether or not people use an artifact below arcane rarity, therefore, I am considering changing this restriction to 'only artifacts below arcane rarity' so keep an eye on the thread :)

2). I will be in one of the guilds at the time of their battle, with the names of all that guilds and the opposing guilds team members and subs. Should a name appear on the battleground page that isn't in whichever guilds team...disqualification.

3). Its a longshot but i can only hope it looks interesting enough :)

Disabling artifact use in the battleground zone for the duration of the tournament (some days)...that would be nice if possible.

What restriction(s) does this tournament have?
Before: The only restriction is in terms of artifacts. Each participant is only allowed an artifact below arcane rarity.

- Each guild must have a class mix: warrior, mage and rogue

How do I sign my guild up for the tournament?
Before: This thread will be closed when 20 guilds have signed up OR on Monday 18th September 2017 at 12am BST.
Now: This thread will be closed when 16 guilds have signed up OR on Monday 18th September 2017 at 12am BST.


How will each battle take place?
Before: One guild must send a 10 vs 10, 15-minute, 0 gold wager request to the other guild within 10 minutes (starting when it is time for their battle).
Now: One guild must send a 7 vs 7, 15-minute, 0 gold wager request to the other guild within 10 minutes (starting when it is time for their battle).


Rules
Before:
- A minimum of 10 players is required to enter the tournament, subs are optional.
- A guild without 10 members present at the start of their battle will be disqualified.
- A guild is allowed to have 5 subs, should a team member fail to appear at the time of the battle.
Now:
- A minimum of 7 players is required to enter the tournament, subs are optional.
- A guild without 7 members present at the start of their battle will be disqualified.
- A guild is allowed to have 4 subs, should a team member fail to appear at the time of the battle.

Dates and times to note
Before: Registration thread closed in Forum PvP section – Monday 18th September 2017, 12am BST OR when 20 guilds have signed up.

I recommend every guild just trying it out. Sure there will be superior guilds but it will be just for fun :) also the amount you are giving away to revive pvp should deserve a round of applause. Good luck :)

1. ANY guild is welcome to participate in this tournament. Since guilds will generally have more than 7 or 11 players...i don't see it as fair to not allow their members to form another guild in order to participate, since the guild they are currently in has already decided to play without them. There is no rule against leaving your current guild to form your own guild to participate in this tournament.

2. I guess your best chances of finding out is to participate :) better to be safe than sorry eh? ;)

The banners are for developer hosted tournaments. There's a reason why players have not been able to grant banners as rewards. It is especially true if you are participating in your own tournament and making rules that bend favor to the tournament host.

Would just like to say thankyou for all the time and effort you put into this thread, and how you wanted to help the endgame community. It's sad that spacetime wouldn't give the banners, I'm sure a lot of people's hopes are crushed as well as those coming endgame specifically for this will be let down. My decision to cancel the tournament may be disappointing to some but understand it is for good reason. I would rather not waste your time. What is the point if your guild is the only guild to sign up?

Lastly, please don't get the wrong idea. The 30,000,000 gold prize pool was coming from me, not the developers. It just seems the gold wasn't as attractive to players as I thought it would be. Cancelling the tournament after all the work I put into it hurts me just as much as anyone else.

It is not the same thing as a player hosting a tournament, competing in it, and asking for developer rewards. Why, you ask? The rules can be bent to favor you. There's already a bias in the rules, if you would like me to explain, but I would still like to participate in it. I am not interested in wagering, but I am interested in a chance to win that gold.

Otherwise, why not just offer developers gold to buy the tournament banner? That's pretty much what is happening here, I cannot be the only one who sees it.

Plenty of people have hosted AL tournaments that have come from their own pocket before without developer prizes. It's pointless to post anymore, as your comment proves what the intent of this tournament was.

I'm no Holmes but you seem to really be in need of gold so ill give you an offer: if you can get the developers to host the tournament (because it would be more "highly regulated" )...the prize pool is yours.
