I would have to say no. I perfer half int and half str or dex, because you need mana for your mana shield, and I have found that my mana gets rapidly depleted, along with lower M/S when im not using points in int.

The only set up for Mage that works w/o int is str/dex. Lowest str for the gear desired, then rest to dex.

by non int did u mean no points on int at all?
if thats the case then its a really bad idea.. enchantresses needs to be either dex-chantress(half dex) for damage or paladin(half str) for tankiness..
if you don't want to go dual spec and you want to focus on juat one attribute other than your main, then you will have no damage output at all..enchantresses rely heavily on skill damage and if you dont put points on int, your skill damage will be incredibly low..

Rofl, technically no int is impossible, you'll have 7 baseint to start out with.
Dexmage is a good option but extremely low in armor.
Pure INT is best, but there are not many.

Not putting points in int would make your skill dmg (and heal) very weak, so you would generally want points in int. Popular non-pure end-game (lv 60-61) builds are str/int (called a 'pally'. Good survivability, sucky hit% and skill dmg), and dex/int (called a 'dexchantress'. Great auto-attack dmg, and skill dmg good because of crit of end game gear. But protection sucks compared to pure int, and also skill dmg will suffer because current int gear for lv60 has a nice amount of crit too and much higher skill dmg). If you decide to either go str or dex focussed, you should put minimal points in either attribute (just enough to equip gear) and rest in int. some people like str/dex mage too but, personally, I wouldn't recommend it.
Hope this helps :)

Check ellyidol's guide on dual speccing in the bears section. Dual speccing is the same for all classes. Once you understand that you can use that guide as a guideline on your mage. I'll tell you for a dual spec lv60-61 mage, you'll want 140points in either dex or str, and rest in int.

Str/dex is a viable build. Arguably a better build than str/int; base skill damage means nothing if the hit % is too low to take advantage of it. Only weakness is the somewhat lower mana regen.

Well I must say, at least for me a level 30 enchantress, that my pure(YES PURE) dex build really works wonders! I haven't quite got everything pink armor wise, but I have 54 armor, I use frost talons, (can't remember what they're called cause i don't get reception on my phone at home =( )
Some armor and stuff, Basically at this level it owns, not sure about higher levels but I have ---- Heal Max, Blessing of vit Max, Blessings of might max, weakness on like 4 (These are fairly accurate to what i can remember ^^) 1 in ressurect. I can solo quite well at the croc place, is it ancient swamp?
My dps is about 115 (i'm sure =/ ) And with BOV I get the 40 armor and BOM the crit and damage (IF IT'S RIGHT I CAN'T REMEMBER) I hit 170s crit and the talons are 0.6 secs! So that's near 210 DPS for a few moments, which is enough to mash a group =)
I think I will do a guide on it once I get proper m/s and a little more armor, maybe at 35... The good thing is that it doesn't use TOO much mana. I hae a bit of dodge, dps is amazing, and armor isn't that far behind str armor. I LOVE IT. And i'm not one to commit to a build, i spent so many platinums changing my skills and attributes... but this i've actually stuck to cause it's fun! atm my m/s is 3 and my h/s is 5.

Under level 50, dex/int is a viable build. For pure nuking, once the cosmos and shadow sets are introduced, things swing permanently in favor of pure int.

pretty much agree. i had a str/dex mage from lvl 1 to lvl 59. all the way up to when i started playing nuri it was a great build IMO. i had awesome survivability and great damage, but my skills were weak. i also have a pure int mage and didnt realize how bad my skills were till i started playing that character again. so at lvl 59 i switched my dex/str mage to a pally to keep the survivability and now i have pretty good skill damage and heals. if it wasnt for the skill damage not being as effective i probably would still be dex/str.

This btw, is all PvE.
For PvP, str/dex, dex/int, and pure all can work out.
