So hi guys
Today I have an idea idk if someone already said any thing about or know :)
So we all have sometimes some items with awakes we don't know how much it worth or how good it is
And most of time we end up listing in auc for over price and it don't sell or for cheap price and it sell and we regret it
So here's a new system idea
What if I list an item and u say bid start price is 100k or 1m or even 1 gold and u select a time for bid ends and who made biggest bid will take it and u get the gold and ofc sts can add taxes system just like auc like it takes 5% off price at the end or 10% or 0% lol any thing as sts say :) till me what u guys think and if u don't like it let me know why:))
C ya guys liter keep the hard work and have fun.

There would be so many people complaining how their item sold for too low price. And those are the people who don't understand how an auction works... i personally say yes for this but by thinking of community, then no..

He can change starting price for an example arc ring he can say start is 1m and players make bids and as high it it will sell so he can be unhappy of price at the end if select the right start price :)

Its called having a reserve on an item. You set a reserve of say 1.5m on a rendtails and if bids don't reach that high before the time expires then it doesn't sell.
It would be great and I also think we should be able to pair items (like a package deal or something) together like 10awaken gems and arc ring for "1.75m", something like that.

+1

Great idea, but the thing is people are going to use this (especially those super rich players) to list couple of there items at high prices (higher then it should be) and scam people in a legal way. I mean this is already happening in the current auction XD

I think there should be a poster board system such as

Built is looking for a dark watch sword (any level) for (200k)
Said player looks on the board
Wound is looking to sell their dark watch sword lv21 for 250k but see's builds offer and sells

Of course there will be a taxing system like always

Then again it would that's what forums is for and there will always been that one player that will have a problem with it.

There will always be problems and stipulations to any buying/selling/bidding systems.

Although I do like your idea Mohok

An excellent idea but it needs to be done properly.

let's assume I bid for a dreambot egg 12m. The starting was 10 and auto sell at 15m.

Do I have to wait 3 days for me to collect the egg? If so, pretty long time to go on without 12m gold especially for merchants.
If there is a max gold limited that it auto sells then that is not really the point of bidding.. It's meant to go as high as it can.
Is the listing fee the same for bid and or listing for normal sale?
If gold get's taken out of accounts when they bid, there will be financial issues in the game for certain.
If gold does not get taken out of accounts when they bid, what happens if they don't have gold when bid ends and they won.
You found someone selling it for 11m in town, can you cancel your offer anytime? By doing so, is there a charge for cancelling?

My personal opinion is that this will create an extreme amount of work for STS. Considering they are developing a new game and the biggest expansion for early next year to ultimately reach new players for the success of their games and sustain financial needs, they are more likely to focus on the new game. I would not count on this anytime soon. Nonetheless, surprize us STS...

the thread should be moved to suggestion section.

Good idea, I like that you can see how much time left
but what if someone who offered more cancel their offer? then the person who listed has no offer? or can they not cancel offers?

Can't really expect people to be online on the last hour of x item to make a bid near the end of time for a bid but I guess if u want it bad enough u gotta or offer ridiculous price

I would keep things easy. Game right now is already a bit complicate for newcomers.
I like the idea, is good, but I don't really see the need to implement something like this.
Auc works, trade works. Prices will always float. There is no "right price" for an item IMO. Just depend on offer/request and timing. KISS (keep it simple and stupid).
Just IMO

agree with Kayak on this one.. and besides.. i think there are more important things that need a closer look.

The moment u make the bid the gold will be taken from u account until the bid time is over and u get the item or some one bid more and u get the gold back

I think many ppl will bid at last few mins or hour so you can easy solve it like in Auc now you don't know how long is till end XD easy solution and I think it is great idea and if STS create this it would be great +1 for my.

Reminds me of ebay. No thank you, keep the interface as is, simple and fun :) Traders market on forum, CS (consignment shop) in game, and shouting in global chat seems like its worked well over the last 5 years (:
