Skill damage is dependent on your one primary attribute and it gives the best improvement to all your stats.

This isn't like PL.

People in SL claiming they are better of a mix though it has been proven that the benefits of a 'pure' state for the class due to the link with skills are essential.

Dude you should just be class specific they just put it there so to see how bad you can mess with your stats.just kidding.

If you upgrade STR you get higher base damage and higher base armor as well as base health and regenaration mana stays the same.

If you upgrade DEX you get faster speed and you get meduim health and mana as well as a low regenaration for both

If you upgrade INT you get a greater base mana and mana regenaration.

So yeah thats the point of STR,DEX,INT to have better whatever when you wear something.

P.S. if I missed something on the stats just comment it

Maybe higher DPS but not speed in general.

uh mixing stats is not stupid at all. Pure builds are for "elite" players they are tricky to play with and need a lot of support in terms of gear and credits. The rationale behind pure builds is that it helps best for your class. If you are commando, pure str means that you can get hit a lot, as you have a lot of hit points, so ur good for catching bullets and mob attacks. For OP, pure dex means most dps, but especially in the SY levels the dps starts becoming excessive, so you can invest the extra points elsewhere. For engie, pure int means most mana, that means a lot of casting, but if you are not a spammy engie, you could well do with more dps (dex) or health (str). If you are not going for pure builds, its a good idea to tune your build based on stim use at every level, that is if you are using more red pots, put more in str, if you are using more blue pots, put more in int, for any class. A bigger heart (str) doesnt hurt for any class, especially if you frequently run in the wild and have no idea what kind of dunjons you will land up in. You should end up between 5-20 points in the non critical class for a mildly hybrid build, at the highest level. Another approach is to maximise your points at every level, so look at what every point does best, and put it there. If you do this, you will end up with more hybrid builds, with more than 20 points off the pure builds, but these are pretty comfortable to play with. Good luck

This is actually incorrect. An Engineer will get the biggest DPS boost from INT. DEX will improve CRIT by about 2 points compare to INT (@lvl30), at the cost of all the other benefits INT provides to an Engineer. STR will improve health by an equally lame margin of about ~20 (@lvl30), but the extra HIT it provides could justify putting points into it.

The easiest way to allocate your stats is to stick to your prime stat. There are reasons to allocate otherwise, such as an Engineer who wants to get 100 HIT who may need to allocate some points in to STR.
