Gold Loot, Nerfed?

Has gold loot in [Elite] Southern Gates been nerfed? For some reason when I run gates there is a specific alternation between 1-3k to 10-16k after every run is this suppose to happen, or is gold loot nerfed?

It's random I get 1k to 10k it's normal, always been like that since I've started esg
