Game freezes on character screen

Everything goes smoothly until I try to start playing. The game just freezes and the kill page window pops up. I'm using the 15.0.874.102 version of Chrome.
Does anyone know a solution to this?

EDIT: I tried to play with my level 3 engineer and it worked perfectly. But I need to access my main character, it still freezes.

Thats a weird one, you have updated your Audio and Video drives? (Seems to have solved quite a few problems)

I'm having a similar problem. Unfortunately updating drivers isn't always the best solution as laptop users in particular depend on OEMs (like Toshiba etc) and can't install drivers directly from AMD or Nvidia without having issues.
