Armory? (for game creators)

why not make an armory site off of this one?
something that lists all armor, maybe even like a way so that we can show off our characters.
kind of like wow has, but not so intense.
maybe just a stat builder, gear combiner.
or even just a way to know whats out there.

as a treat you could keep new gear off of the armory for 3-4 weeks, so no one knows whats out there, but then we will eventually know.

Probably not very likely given the games current size, for a game like WoW or EverQuest it's easy, thousands of subscribers pay in millions to go towards funding for staff etc and it grows proportionately.
6 guys are already hard pushed for time getting the updates out.

Something I've been thinking of doing with the Item Database (http://venom-guild.com/db/search.php)I've been working on. It's going to be quite awhile tho as step 1 is to have the community help build the database so further additions like the one you mentioned can be built.
