Since we are no more able to “gift” items i thought removing the option “Reject gifts” from setting would make a bit more sense (Sorry for Nxxxbs bad words xD)

I mentioned that in the content update post...

With the option to reject gifts available, was there really a need to remove the option to give gifts? I have dropped nice items on unsuspecting people from time to time and if someone gave me their unwanted item, it more likely than not had some amount of gold value when liquidated - thanks for free gold.

I heard they removed it because someone won a PvP tournament and accidentally gave the shield away (must have missclicked). You really get to see the importance of the "give" option when you need to transfer or give stuff to people. I really miss this option and I hope they bring it back.

I see.
Maybe a solution would be to rework the now defuct "Reject Gifts" option to "Lock Inventory" which would reject gifts as before, prevent the ability to give gifts, prevent liquidation of items and even prevent trading if desired.
Another added benefit of lock inventory could be to allow running over everything that is not an XP orb or items that exceed a certain drop percentage without picking them up. Rare items that are within the designated drop percentage threshold would still be acquired.

It is the means by which many unsuspecting players are scammed / robbed of their items. It's not coming back.

Good suggestion to remove the extraneous option, though :-)

Can we at least add coma's in the trade window to show how much gold is being added? And wow you pick the picture with me being a little naughty to post

The gift option was a faster way to give beggars free items. Scammers will still take items if they are greedy using the trade option. They won't return the items.
