Every so often when recruiting a person won't be able to receive guild invites from me and others can you please fix it

They must have guild invites turned off on the options.

What game? If star legends it may have came with shipyard

It's impossible to join a guild via the social menu now, u have to join by going to the notification in the top right of the screen.

Correct :D
Also note that if you are in the lobby (not in a town or game) you can not receive guild invites. Move to B* or Numa Outpost etc, and then try.
