I was going to buy the vanity shield for yesterdays deal of the day but i was busy all day when i was free i went to buy it before the day ended and it was a balloon. I still want it so i emailed support. Has this ever happened to anybody? If so did they help you? Thanks :)

I dont think so... But support has a good reputation of being good about these things. You might just get lucky.

There is actually a trick to get those deals anyways, but I won't tell it here. If they are vey kind the devs could actually do 2 things.
1. Re-make the deal of the day you wanted for a longer period of time.
2. Tell you the trick I've told you before, without the fear of beign banned :D

Yeh about the same time that was nerfed is about when all the DOTD issues started....lol

I just tested it out, it doesn't work any more.
The only way you can get the balloon is by emailing support.
Anyways, the orange balloon is still the DotD!

They'll most likely tell you that it will return again as the daily deal soon enough. That's what they told me a few months ago at least...

They don't work on weekends, expext an email from them tommorow.

They can just make the deal of the day go for longer than 24 hours, say like 48 hours to catch the late sleepers, the busy people, etc. I seem to catch the weekend ones, but miss a lot of the weekday ones because I might be busy for a day or so. I think 48 hours, especially on weekdays might work for more people.
